The Yanks have produced a movie with Denzel Washington which shows that during the latter stages of the Vietnam war they exported heroin to flood the poor rebellious ghettoes of America with cheap drugs.

As always only half the story is stated. The US army needing funds for an extension of the war into Cambodia and Laos apart from funnelling funds from its misnamed 'moon missions' got it from selling it to thousands of US citizens. They were thus able to kill two birds with one stone.
The draft dodgers were taxed through the proceeds of drugs and the resistance to the war was crushed by getting so many youth hooked on toxic substances.
The same is happening today. Over the last 7 years the media have promoted two role models (Kate Moss and Pete Doherty) and constantly refer to them as heroin addicts. This is promotion of the heroin business from Afghanistan which helps to pay for the war in Iraq.
Drugs have become so cheap and easily available that primary schoolkids are on them. Teenagers shoot each other over them and the only business worth having nowadays is a drug business and then the red carpet is open for you when you walk into the local bank.
I was impressed by this poster who said this on the website I posted above which got me thinking...
Quote: | Read "The Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire" there are definite indications in the posts I am reading, what we value and don't, promoting uneducated and ill-informed, trinket-loving and greedy to "leadership" positions -- and the posts lauding Messrs. Barnes and Lucas. "Journalists" masquerading as movie producers, promoting FALSE historical narratives about African-Americans they would never permit for their own people/culture -- is a further degradation of any sense of a valuable culture. Look at who runs the music cos., media and our fixation on women starving themselves to be like/look like models who never graduate from junior high school and have nothing between their ears. This is CULTURAL DECLINE on an epic scale. Then, look at our President and his Cabinet -- and weep. Ironically, our disgrace as African-Americans in this matter is only a harbinger of the overall disgrace. Blowback anyone??? Drugs were funnelled into Harlem and our communities, nationwide...then filtered down to Wall Street and Studio 54...to the bastions of the rich. Only then was it a "problem" to be dealt with. Ditto AIDS, etc. Pretty soon the powers that be will have more to concern themselves with besides trivial "retired" drug dealers, ignorant music moguls, models and actors -- and "journalists" who waste our time. There will be a reckoning...and the world doesn't want to be like America any longer. They don't want our entertainment/media. Our dollar is lowering in value by the day. There are 1000 baby boomers turning 60 years old by the minute as of January 2007 -- w/two generations together half their size who will have to subsidize their "retirements" if you can call it that. We have a $800 billion dollar deficit -- from a surplus just 7 years ago. It will take two generations to dig ourselves out, if we can. China and India are on the rise and pretty soon there will be two classes -- rich investors and poor. How will JayZ, Diddy, the Nation... and we survive when our pathologies aren't commoditizable??? Good question.

This is so true.
Firstly may i congratulate Denzil on another fine performance. You will recall he also made The Siege where the US started interning all Arab Americans because of CIA trained bombers blowing up buses in New York .
his other great film was The Manchurian Candidate which was nominated for an oscar and betrayed the considerable mind control programmes that exist. But also that some patsies may simply be hypnotised innocent people.
The drug trade is a massive fundraiser for the security services both in the US and in the UK but the other spin off is a large number of people neutralised from participating in real life.
In the UK more people take drugs than any other country other than the USA. Every movie like the recent 'Knocked Up' shows habitual drug taking but it is made to be a trendy thing to do. Shows like 'Weeds' even glamorise the dealing side of the equation.
Personally speaking, i grew up in Tottenham, i have taken virtually every single drug during my late teens and early 20s. So i know directly what its all about. Today we control Afghanistan and today it exports more heroin back to the UK than ever before. This is happening deliberately and under the direct supervision of our security services. 2 + 2 really does add up to 4. In the 1970s you may recall the Golden triangle? Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, were the main producers of Heroin. Dont you think it is a coincidence that 'booze cruising' and smack smuggling occur simultaneously?
People who are worried about where their next fix is coming from, or are simply looking to score for the weekend are not likely to be voting nor are they likely to be boycotting Israeli goods or going to Stop the War demos. _________________
