Please keep your diaries free for the world premiere of Loose Change Final Cut. The first screening is at noon. I believe Dylan Avery will be there too. _________________ "We will have to repent in this generation not merely for the vitriolic words and actions of the bad people, but for the appalling silence of the good people.” Martin Luther King

We've got to treat these film showings like they were speaking events - the longer the film gets a full house (or near to it) the longer it will stay on at cinemas and the more publicity it will get.
I am personally going to try and get my family and friends I have been trying to convince of this - there's nothing dodgy in it and I believe anyone seeing it will come away with serious questions of their own.
If everyone does the same and we all flyer for it like we would a speaking event we can make the most of this opportunity. _________________

I think this is a good time to get leafleting around Town Centers and letter boxes too. The problem with these type of events is, they do not get main stream media coverage. So there is more likely to be a 9/11 cult style following. It is the people who do not know, need to see this film. _________________ "It's called the American Dream, because you have to be alseep to believe it"

thse 2 screenings are about bums on seats to get it rolled out to more cinemas. Tickets are on sale from Monday on the Brixton Ritzy website. There are 2 screenings planned 23/24 at noon. Bring your mums, grans, sisters, nieces, nehews, friends, uncles. We will have a load of flyers ready by early next week at the latest and will be spending time round Briston and uni's.

As Stefan says, this is a huge opportunity but how many people would consider this film to be "big"? The leaflets need to be designed correctly to encourage people to go.
I would be happy to come up to help out with publicity.
We have an opportunity with the huge gig on at the Brixton academy on the 16th/24th/25th _________________ Currently working on a new website

For those planning to attend on the saturday I would advise booking tickets as it's already over half booked up, with most people I know who are going not having booked yet. _________________ "We will have to repent in this generation not merely for the vitriolic words and actions of the bad people, but for the appalling silence of the good people.” Martin Luther King
Here's the film from the launch at the Frontline Club on Tuesday:

Ubi solitudinem faciunt, pacem Americanam appellant - Tacitus Redactus.
Sorry, most people there are probably still recovering from the after-party!
In terms of fullness, I'd estimate 80-90% full - would that be fair anyone else who was there? A good turn out anyway.
Plus points are it was well received.
Minus points is how much the poor production values really stood out a half mile on the big screen. I'd seen it on DVD before at the advance preview and was very impressed, but I assumed it would look crisp on the big screen. It didn't.
I feel the film has been let down somewhat by a lack of proffesional sound editing and the extreme poor quality of some of the visual, there was also a bit of static throughout the film that isn't there on the DVD - that needs to be sorted out before its shown again at the very least.
While this will be a classic hand out DVD and internet film and I'm still 100% behind the core of the film itself, this simply isn't to the standard of a cinema documentary and as such seems a bit of a dropping of the ball.
It would be nice to get an update with the very best quality clips (some of them are very bad) that can be found, some visual mastering, a polish on the edit and sound recording and so on.
I don't think the film itself needs changing, and Dylan should be proud of it - the tone it takes and the material it covers, the naration is top notch and I do think it will be a perfect campaigning DVD in conjunction with Press for Truth.
It's soreley in need of some tweaking though... _________________
