He just said that the US were running the death squads out of the interior ministry - None of the other guests commented on this, especialy the US representative who, as usual, preferred to ignore reality in favour of 'creating their own'.

RObert Frisk has written a very good article
on a sdimilar topic. It mentions police recruits beiong trained for 2 weeks then getting sent off with a car and a mobile.
