He just said that the US were running the death squads out of the interior ministry - None of the other guests commented on this, especialy the US representative who, as usual, preferred to ignore reality in favour of 'creating their own'.
As usual the condemnation of the war was met with applause whilst the US representative was fire fighting.

RObert Frisk has written a very good article
on a sdimilar topic. It mentions police recruits beiong trained for 2 weeks then getting sent off with a car and a mobile. They call when they get to their destination to receive further instructions but the car then blows up.
