excellent new film by kevin booth....
"The Last White Hope - America's War on Drugs gives a radical new perspective to the Drug War by putting a human face on the War's casualties, while enlisting help from some unlikely sources. A Republican Governor? A right-wing Judge? The Last White Hope has made ending the drug war a mainstream issue. Director Kevin Booth takes the viewer on a very personal three-year journey through the front yards to the alleys and prisons of the American drug war. From conservative district court judges to hashish smugglers, from LAPD narcotics officers to the most famous crack kingpin of the 1980's, from actors and doctors to gang members and drug dealers, The Last White Hope casts the Drug War in a new light, one that shows how money, power and greed have corrupted not just dope fiends but an entire government. More importantly, it shows what can be done about it. This is not some 'pro-drug' stoner film, but a collection of expert testimonials from the ground troops on the front lines of the drug war, the ones who are fighting it and the ones who are living it. The Last White Hope is the culmination of three years of passionate filmmaking. The result is a film that has the courage to tell the truth and the power to persuade even the most skeptical."

Don't even suggest that SkyWay Communications Holding Corp.
has any connection to N900SA
which was busted with 5.5 tons of coke on board. Or that the founder of Skyway Holding, Michael D. Farkas, has any connection to Manhigut Yehudit
just because he's the President of Manhigut USA. _________________ "When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty." ~ Thomas Jefferson

American Drug War / The Last White Hope is truly worth a watch whether you are interested in the absurd war on drugs or not.
I challenge anyone to watch that film and still think that keeping substances illicit makes any sense whatsoever.
There's a whole other layer to the situation that Kevin Booth hardly touches - this is of course that certain governments and their above-government intel fronts made a decision at the end of the second world war - this was to equal the Mafia in monopolising drug trafficking with the rationale that it was better for them to be taking the profit than "criminals".
- Now and then you see a glimpse of these things in action - the 5 kilo plane above is just one minor episode.Reports than G H W Bush called in GW Bush and Jeb to help offload a C130 place of it's 'goods'.
- Barry Seal getting caught with Bush the Elder's phone number in his wallet as told by a local Sherriff who had a case of evidence on it one day - only to find the same evening that Jeb Bush arrives with personal tropps and ends up taking the whole safe where the sherrif had put the items away on a cargo plane - never to be seen again.
- The fact that Mossad have cornered the market in MDMA production since the mid 90s.

Excellent film - about time someone got of their ass and made all these numerous links.
Thing is, from what I recall of watching this in a rush a month or so back, the writer/director didn't really make the most of the point that the Iran Contra "episode", complete with Oliver North hauled up in front of Senate committee, was 90% cover. It was a linguistic psy-op that got the worlds press all caught up in their astonishment that arms were being shipped for drugs when in fact I've seen footage of the sort of thing that was dropped off to the Contras - it was all second hand, cheap as f*ck equipment that looked like it had been saved from the Korean war.
The 'arming' of the supposed anti-commie faction was just an excuse for huge scale drug shipping which was part of an ongoing strategy from when the Bush Co began schmoozing with the Heroin importing Mafia at the end of world war 2.
If anyone is interested - I have video testimony from 2 CIA agents who reveal just how big the Bush/Mena/North thing was. In fact one said a little too much as he was found washed up on a beach after being tortured to death.

And here is one of America's senior drug running criminals from the Iran Contra days as a guest of honour in a Maryland church - there is no shame in the Nazi USofA

another clip from this brilliant film on Gary Webb etc. etc.
Includes an admission (by the former head of the DEA - Robert Bonner) that our CIA smuggled cocaine into the United States to help finance its operations.
The period of alcohol prohibition in the 1920s saw the rise of Moonshine, a homemade brew that, while very dangerous, would give drinkers the buzz they were looking for. Nearly a century later, we in America are facing a national epidemic of methamphetamine use. Better known as crystal meth, speed, or tweek; it is a synthetic drug that can be cooked up anywhere with items purchased at a grocery store. Has drug prohibition created a black market for cheaper, more dangerous, and easier to acquire substances?

Bolivia tells US drug agents to get out
---------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------
Big News Network.com Wednesday 5th November, 2008
Bolivia has asked the US Drug Enforcement Administration to leave the country in three months, after accusing it of subversion.
The leftist government of Evo Morales said it has asked the DEA to leave the country after conclusive proof that the US agency was interfering in the country's internal affairs.
The government accused DEA personnel of plotting to seize airports.
Morales said that so far, more than 25 tons of cocaine had been confiscated in 2008, proving his country could fight drug trafficking on its own.
Morales said DEA officials were involved in disrupting government activities during the unrest in September by funding civic leaders with the aim of sabotaging airports in eastern Bolivia and to prevent visits from government officials.
Washington has dismissed the accusations as absurd and warned that the Bolivian government's step would only lead to increased violence and drug trafficking in the country.
May I say how good it is to see (among other points) somebody making the connection between who pays for the propaganda and the subsequent influence on policy as being of primary concern.
At least to those who get concerned about such things.
Surprisingly few seem unable to make that connection, especially when the propaganda has been couched in a way that appeals to inbuilt prejudices. _________________ Dissolution of the Global Corporations.
