'.In September, 1997, Spartacus Educational founder and managing director John Simkin became the first educational publisher in Britain to establish a website that was willing to provide teachers and students with free educational materials.
According to a survey carried out by the Fischer Trust, Spartacus Educational is one of the top three websites used by history teachers and students in Britain (the other two are BBC History and the Public Record Office’s Learning Curve). The Spartacus Educational website currently gets up to 7 million page impressions a month and 3 million unique visitors.
As well as running the Spartacus Educational website John Simkin has also produced material for the Electronic Telegraph, the European Virtual School and the Guardian's educational website, Learn. He was also a member of the European History E-Learning Project (E-Help), a project to encourage and improve use of ICT and the internet in classrooms across the continent.

The Information is an informative podcast covering a wide range of alternative topics.
A plethora of issues covered, ranging from the deepest of spiritual discussion to the dark plans of the NWO. Varied speakers and regular updates.
Originally a small press magazine from the late 1990s, The Information is a name we use to describe our entirely open perspective to alternative research. No topic is taboo, no speaker shunned at the door. In 2010, we decided to transfer an archive of written articles into audio format and publish them online. Since then, we have continued as a podcast offering new content on a regular basis.

Although EIN has a home page, this web site, Phi Beta Iota the Public Intelligence Blog, is its portal to content across multiple legacy websites, and the EIN point of interface with the public.
The logo consists of the Whole Earth within a Rescue Cross, with four symbols: the bowl for food and water; the quill pen for education and communication; the shovel for construction and development; and the stilleto for the inevitable rogues that need to be killed one at a time. On a white field are found the legal name of the non-profit, and our public purpose: creating a prosperous world at peace. We do this, in an expansion of Buckminster Fuller’s practice, by enabling hybrid governance through ethical evidence-based decision-support in the context of transparent, truthful networks of trust.
The outermost border summarizes our two innovative methods for which we are the foremost proponents in the world: Open Source Everything (the only technical solution that is affordable, inter-operable, and scalable) and Multinational, Multiagency, Multidisciplinary, Multidomain Information-Sharing and Sense-Making (M4IS2, the only human solution that assures holistic analytics and a grasp of true cost economics).

Our mind-set is deeply rooted in Ecological Economics as pioneered by Dr. Herman Daly and subsequently described in books by the titles of Ecology of Commerce and Natural Capitalism. We believe that the Earth is amply sufficient to provide every human now living with a life that is both prosperous and secure — where we have gone wrong is in allowing a select few to internalize profit and externalize cost.
Here is our “method” graphic. We consider education, intelligence (decision-support), and research to be part of a whole system that cannot be fragmented without devolving into idiocy across all major domains (political-military, socio-economic, ideo-cultural, techno-demographic, and natural-geographic).

This time, the major media chose to ignore four former Air Force drone-war personnel who went public with an open letter to President Obama. The letter urged the President to reconsider a program that killed “innocent civilians,” and which “only fueled the feelings of hatred that ignited terrorism and groups like ISIS, while also serving as a fundamental recruiting tool [for extremists] similar to Guantanamo Bay.”
In strong, dramatic language, the four men — in the letter and subsequent press appearances — challenged the official Obama White House/Pentagon/CIA public view that civilians are rarely killed by drones, and that drones make Americans safer and are helping defeat terrorists. Rather, they said that the U.S. drone war plays right into the hands of ISIS and other extremist groups by terrorizing local populations and killing innocent civilians, resulting in heightened anti-U.S. feeling and more recruits for ISIS.

The current crisis is rooted in divisions going back to French and British colonial legacies. In late 2016 the minority Anglophone community responded to their ever increasing marginalization by biased Francophone legal, economic and educational policies. Their mostly peaceful protests were met by fierce violence by Cameroonian security forces. 10 peaceful protestors were killed by security forces between October 2016 and February 2017 and an independent report estimates that 122 peaceful protestors were killed between September 22 October 1, 2017 alone (most were killed on Oct. 1 when security forces shot indiscriminately into crowds from helicopters)[i]. The situation deteriorated further from there. Armed separatists have since killed more than 44 members of the security forces and have also targeted teachers and students who were not actively engaging in their political boycott activities. This escalation of violence has led to increased militarization on both sides. Further compounding the crisis, more than 150,000 people have become internally displaced and another 20,000 refugees have fled to Nigeria.
