Hi
Thanks for the comments
1) The primary reason for the change is to reinforce what we have always said. A public forum CANNOT represent the 911 truth campaign. It stands to reason anyone can post here including the good people at MI5 and there can be little or no control over who or how 'our' message is presented on a public forum. we need only look at the articles and websites of our critics such as Jon Ronson, Rachel North, George Monbiot and Larry OHara/Cultwatch to see how isolated posts on this forum have been used against the campaign.
2) Should the multi-media list be reinstated? Yes, probably. But again this is never simple, since the site has been criticsed previously because by displaying such and such a video and not having another video, the site is seen to 'endorse' a particular position or piece of evidence, which we don't.
Similarly the campaign site can not have a multi-media list since it would then be seen to be endorsing certain content. The no endorsement rule has been one principle that has reduced the divisions between campaigners that have developed in the US
3) To change the web address from www.nineeleven.co.uk is problematic since we are listed and linked from so many other sites
4) Should July 7 and underthecarpet be on the list of external sites.?Absolutely yes, along with a load of other good UK sites such as globalelite and thedossier that have no doubt been omitted by mistake
5) The name (peacing it together) came from the discussion on this forum on the suitability of war on freedom title. Many objected to the use of war in 'war on freedon' since we are as a matter of principle committed to peace and non-violent change
Tony I did flag up both the intention to rebrand the site and the link to the dummy site before it went live. I did this at previous meetings, in emails and in the moderators section. You must have missed this. The idea to rebrand the site to make a clear separation of forum and campaign has been discussed to death at various meetings and on this forum for more than 6 months and the consensus is definately supportive of the rebranding. If needs be I can dig out the minutes and emails.
However the front page is not set in stone. Happy to look at ways in which the headlines and best multimedia links can be incorporated |

my advice: find another forum that's not hosted on a partition of the MI5 mainframe... _________________ Make love, not money. |

When suggesting more links I think we should stick with well established sites that have some degree of credibility (I know that's debatable) and produce some original content. Because there's hundreds of sites we could link to we don't want to have a ton of dead links on the front page in a years time, as many sites don't stick around for very long.
You'll notice that all the sites listed have been around for many years, although there's more I would love to include.
Once all the suggestions have been made I'll update the list.
With the videos, there's a multimedia board now, why not add the vids you'd like to see in there. The multimedia section will eventually function like the events and news on the front page. _________________ RINF Alternative News and Media

If we don't get the video everidance back on the front page soon then the trolls will have won and this could be the end of this website. |

| Given the strength of feeling about the multimedia links we will put them back up. Mick is busy with other stuff but will do so when he gets the chance. |

Good suggestions
It possibly needs a page dedicated to the best multimedia
I like http://www.thedossier.ukonline.co.uk/ as an introductory gateway to media resources from the MSM and underthecarpet's resources.
Would you (Z and T) want to work with Mick M to help put this together? You should have Mick's email |
