Or did it get resolved?

Quote: | A CONSPIRACY theorist who survived the 9/11 attacks has been banned from a Grange hotel over his controversial views.
Decorated hero William Rodriguez, who believes the US government were behind the attacks, has been told he is not welcome at Graythwaite Manor Hotel because of his “political views”.
Mr Rodriguez, a former janitor credited with saving countless lives on 9/11, is due to give a talk on his experiences at the Victoria Hall in Grange tonight (july 5) as part of his European lecture tour.
In February, Mr Rodriguez planted a tree in the grounds of Graythwaite Manor to remember those who died on September 11, 2001, when terrorists flew jets into the Twin Towers.
He was due back at the hotel tonight and tomorrow night as the guest of owners Jimmy and Jane Duncan.
But in a press statement yesterday, Graythwaite Manor Hotel said he would no longer be staying there.
Mr Rodriguez's lecture was organised by Cumbria 9/11 Truth and Peace Group, which also holds controversial views on September 11.
In a statement Graythwaite Manor Hotel said: "After careful consideration, the new management of Graythwaite Manor Hotel has decided to postpone William Rodriguez visit to the hotel due to his political views. |

"Can anyone be banned legally for their political views? I think not!"
of course they can, the management reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. you can't do it over race but you can certainly do it over what footwear they have on or their political views. |

Thanx for throwing some truth on the issue Mick.
Apparently the Graythwaite Manor Hotel had received a large booking for 40 people and this had been cancelled at the eleventh hour. The reason for the cancellation was that the party had discovered that William had been booked in.
Further investigations are being made by the Cumbria group to expose the truth.
The appalling and inaccurate reporting by the NW Evening mail (re: Conspiracy theorist") understandably upset William. Despite this though William gave an impressive account to a full house of his experience of the day and what he has done after 911. He received a well deserved round of applause at the end and many of th audience took up the opportunity of speaking to him personally afterwards, holding the key of truth and taking photographs with him.
At no time during his presentation did he ever refer to conspiracy theories. He just told us what he heard and saw on the day and how he and others who had escaped and experienced the same were ignored by the commission report.
Hopefully there are open minded professional independent journalists who did attend the event who will confirm the truth that hero William Rodriguez
is not a conspiracy theorist.
How low can they go?
Can I request that those who attended one of Williams presentations contact the newspaper and also the Hotel and give them your informed opinion of whether or not William is a CT.
I personally am going to write and send a complaint letter to the NW Evening Post (coped to the Press Complaints Offce in London) and also the Hotel. _________________ Pikey

Re: Letters to the Editor
Not motivated by any personal vendetta but to fulfil his impassioned belief that the public has a right to know the truth, the last man to escape alive from the North Tower on Sept 11 2001, William Rodriguez delivered a compelling account at the Victoria Hall, Grange on 5/7/07 of his experience on the day and the campaigning he has done with bereaved families which forced the Bush administration into publishing the official report of what and how the events of the day happened.
William Rodriguez supports the demand by the global 911 truth & peace campaign to have a professional independent investigation carried out to address the hundreds of unanswered questions and testimonies that remain.
Having researched 911 for two years and read the book “The New Pearl Harbour” written by academic and theologian, David Ray Griffin, forwarded by MP Michael Meacher, I attended the Grange event as it was the nearest venue on William’s UK summer tour.
As journalists have a professional duty of care to be accurate and to put the interests of the public first I invite the editor to publicly explain the appalling article published in the Evening Mail (5/7/07) only hours before the event headed “Hotel bans 9/11 survivor”. In particular I would like to know the intent behind this news article.
The article opened “a conspiracy theorist who survived the 911 attacks has been banned from a Grange Hotel over his controversial views”. Within the content of the article it also stated “his political views”
If any professional independent journalists were in the audience they would be able to confirm that the Evening Mail’s article was totally disrespectful and a travesty of the truth, They would also have been able confirm the accuracy of the statement made by one of the local organisers of the event “Mr Rodriguez does not present political views. He just presents his story and its up to everyone to do their research”. There was not one single conspiracy theory or political view made throughout the presentation.
Shame on the Evening Mail for the article as well as to Mr & Mrs Duncan, the owners of the Graythwaite Manor Hotel, both, for not providing the welcome Mr Rodriguez deserved for travelling such a great distance to tell his personal story and for saving the lives of 15 innocent civilians on 911.
I hope that the Evening Mail can redeem itself by issuing a public apology to William Rodriguez and the organizers of the event. Failing that I have no doubt that the matter will be investigated by the Press Complaints Commission. As for the Graythwaite Manor Hotel I’ll give that a wide berth next time I’m seeking accommodation in Grange.
