White House spokesman Tony Snow said that during the time that Bush is under anesthesia, he would delegate power to Vice President Dick Cheney.
A colonoscopy is a test that allows doctors to look inside the large intestine for possible tumors. Snow said the procedure Bush is undergoing will be a follow-up to a test he had in 2002.
The procedure will be performed by a team of physicians from the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, under the supervision of Bush's physician, Dr. Richard |

funny thing is reagan used to have regular colonoscopies too.
Used to leave George Bush senior in charge most of the time anyway.
I dont thinkit is dangerous, because cheney is the guy in charge anyway, george bush is a complete bufoon. even if they cant dislodge Tony Blair's tongue it wont make any difference cheney will still be in charge as he is anyway.

I understand (but don't quote me) that the colonoscopy is a desperate attempt to find either the 'Smirkin' Chimp's' brain or conscience.
