Never saw the appeal of this lot myself. Anyone who has to be "zany" to be funny - e.g. Gyles Brandreth - should usually be avoided at all costs.

Lord Such was a one joke man, who had a nasty little Englander side to him. Those who have tried to carry his party on are often worse, certainly the one's I met in Kensington at the Portillo by-election in the late 90s.
