Apparently (according to him today) there is too much oil and the concept of peak oil was invented by the neo-cons in order to increase oil prices.
I have to say this is utter junk. Oil is a finite resource, which is why we are currently trying to steal Iraq's oil with Iran possibly being next. He should watch 'Oil,Smoke and Mirrors'. The reason the US dollar is collapsing is mainly to do with the cost of their war's, the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina as well as poor political domestic policy by a Bush administration obsessed with the bogus war on terror.
I have to agree that he gets close with some of his points, but often wastes it by arriving at conclusions that are simply unrealistic. He is fast becoming a doom merchant. I have to say that not every problem in the world was orchestrated by devils... some things just happen, thats just the nature of things. AJ seems to be keen to read too much into even the smallest issue to the point of dis-information.
Pretty much the only issue I agree with him on is that 9/11 was an inside job!
Ps. you ever noticed that no-one gets on his show who ever disagrees with him? I am sure those people exist, it just does not seem very democratic. He seems to act a little dictatorial on air.

I agree and I oftern wonder which side of the 'line in the sand' he really stands. Is he out to fuel hysteria or save our/his freedom?
Maybe he is just incapable of calculating the consequences of what he sometimes says, but then I'd trust someone more for saying their piece and upsetting people than someone more calculating :0

Another way of looking at it could be to waste other countries resources thereby saving your own. Obviously sooner or later it will run out.
Anyone up for a game of Age Of Empires

Hi Disco,

... I am not so sure the US has much in the way of resources left. They were one of the first to exploit their oil reserves and have been one of the heaviest users for many years enabling them to grow and build huge cities and drive around in 6 litre cars.
I'd rather a game of Populous.

Take it with a massive pinch of salt. His arguments can be destroyed very quickly.
The guy is a first class idiot to promote this stuff. He's a total denial freak or rather the whole peak oil theory just doesn't fit in with his 'prison planet' concept so he has to incorporate it into his version of events using a more sinister and stupid explanation. Let's not forget, he makes a living by discussing the topics he does. It gains him massive noteriety and power as well as income, just like a prominent MP I guess. He cannot afford for peak oil to be true and 9/11 to be a consequence of that since it would destroy most of his theories in one fell swoop and he'd be left discussing the same things as Michael Meacher, Matt Savinar and Richard Heinberg et al (who all believe 9/11 to be linked to peak oil) and that wouldn't be good for the godlike image he seeks for himself.

The constant insinuations that Alex Jones is a money grabber, a shill or must 'fit stories around his concepts' are 100% unfounded - but sadly will never go away.
He's so popular - and popularity also creates a beefed up ratio of haters.
It's the same with everything....
....Oh, except sex.

There IS plenty of oil
and i am afraid you have fallen into the oil propaganda trap.
Let me explain, what do u need oil for?
Plastics? YES
Tarmac? NO
Petrol? NO
Diesal? NO
Power Generation? NO
Aviation Fuel? YES
the fact is we DONT need oil.
Petrol can be substituted with ethanol made from sugar, sheaper, cleaner and more BHP
Power Stations can run on clean coal, hydro electric, wind, etc
Diesal can be made from vegetable oil, in fact used to be made from vegetable oil until the oil industry took over and murdered rudolf diesal.
There is no reason why a sugar based fuel cannot substitute for aviation fuel.
Russia, Saudi arabia, Iran, etc have enough oil for hundreds of years.
So where does this notion arise that oil is running out and we MUST invade someones country and murder a million people just to get our hands on it.
OIL is a conspiracy, we do not need it and it is not running out.
we are brainwashed by the oil lobby

Yes, so in that case, why aren't the alternatives to it more in widespread use! Wind, waves, etc are miniscule sources of alternative energy. It is because the Seven Sisters, no, that's not the road in London, it's the seven major oil corporations in the United Kingdom, discourage and lobby hard against it.

what is factually wrong?
Brazil runs most of it's cars on sugar based ethanol
diesal engines were designed to run on peanut oil
in the 1920's aviation was mainly airships using very little fuel but carrying plenty of passengers and freight
during the first world war german airships were over london dropping bombs out the windows
electric cars have been around for over 50 years - just look at milk floats
so why are we addicted to oil?
roads used to be made from cobbles and cement not tarmac
cars can be driven using sugar(ethanol) or vegetable oil
power stations used to and can still run on coal but new tachnology traps the carbon emmissions
coal gas used to be used for domestic heating and cooking
in brazil most electricity is generated by hydroelctric damms
please tell me which bit do you disagree with
and we havent even spoken about nuclear/solar/thermal/wind/tidal power
not lightning conduction - tesla coils

the oil is taken out of earth-it seems to me it increases earthquakes
maybe they just want to create havoc and laugh at us
the more earthquakes -the more construction jobs for them

Stelios - Coal still accounts for over 50% of Britain's power stations and it never went away. It is mostly now imported from Russia instead of being home produced. In the USA coal is used even more for power generation than in the UK.
You are correct in your conclusion that we do not need oil. Hemp alone could provide us with all the fuel we need and a better form of plastics and paints as well, not to mention better clothes than cotton. Unfortunately the evil oil barons have had their way again. The following article makes for interesting reading. I believe "Popular Mechanics" at that time was a reputable publication so references to it are believable.

Quote: | Henry Ford's first Model-T was built to run on hemp gasoline and the CAR ITSELF WAS CONTRUCTED FROM HEMP! On his large estate, Ford was photographed among his hemp fields. The car, 'grown from the soil,' had hemp plastic panels whose impact strength was 10 times stronger than steel; Popular Mechanics, 1941. |

Quote: | Planting only 6 percent of the continental United States with biomass crops such as hemp would supply all current domestic demands for oil and gas. |

Yes, from what I've read hemp seems to be a suppressed resource with great potential. And not just for

What's AJ saying about the Queen, can anyone summarise it as i've not had time to check this out yet? |
He says the queen is really German and is called Sachs Berg Gopher or something. This is true as far as I'm aware.
He says the royal family and Rothschilds are all inter-bred, probably true, but I don't think there is any source for this.
He basically criticises her for running the UK as a slave-state, being part of the NWO, monopolising the land, and generally being a two-faced NWO whore. All true.
The only unsubstantiated claim is the interbreeding one.
Oh yeah, and he also says that she owns most of BP, doesn't sound too far fetched, but I don't know if he has a source for this claim.

Jones said all that?
I wonder if a heavier group with more muscle are countering Rothschilds cunning... those Oligarchs swagger a bit...
There seem to have been a few odd deaths in that family last few decades and giving up the seat @ the Gold Fix was odd...
Ashkan infighting? Rothschilds past sins being used to make 'em carry the can for the global extortion racket?

""Despite the legal trend against 'marijuana', many Americans continue to buck the trend. Some pro-marijuana organizations tell us that marijuana (also known as hemp) could as a raw material save the U.S. economy. Not by smoking it...that's a minor issue.
Hemp (marijuana) could replace most oil and energy needs, and could revolutionize the textile industry and stop foreign dependency on oil imports. And it could significantly reduce or eliminate the negative ecological impacts of these polluting industries. "
