I would just like to make this post to say that today 9/11/2007 (or 11/09/2007 whatever you prefer).
My heart and mind is not only thinking about the people holding gatherings and talks in London and New York in rememberance of 9/11/2001.
But mostly my heart and mind is thinking about all those innocent 3000 people that needlessly died today 6 years ago, also the people that continue to suffer and die from the resulting aftermath of 9/11.
They needlessly died at the hands of the US goverment and associated organisations for polictial, monatary and power gain, also to put a plan, a statergy in motion.
I can only hope that all those who were behind 9/11 will somehow pay for their crimes, either in this life or the next life (if there is one).
Those that at the moment that are so drunk with money and power that they think that they are above the law and therefore untouchable no matter what they do to anybody, i hope the following quote comes true:
"The bigger they are, the harder they fall"
As i say my thoughts are with the people in London and New York today, with the victims and familys also.
I'm so sorry that 9/11 ever happend. _________________ One sure way for evil to prevail, is for the good to do nothing. |

I wonder if George W. Bush and Dick Chaney are paying lip service to the Annaversary today.
I wonder what they are thinking right now. _________________ One sure way for evil to prevail, is for the good to do nothing. |

September 11 attacks
Yusuf Islam immediately and vehemently spoke out against the September 11, 2001, attacks on the United States, saying:
"I wish to express my heartfelt horror at the indiscriminate terrorist attacks committed against innocent people of the United States yesterday. While it is still not clear who carried out the attack, it must be stated that no right thinking follower of Islam could possibly condone such an action: The Qur'an equates the murder of one innocent person with the murder of the whole of humanity. We pray for the families of all those who lost their lives in this unthinkable act of violence as well as all those injured; I hope to reflect the feelings of all Muslims and people around the world whose sympathies go out to the victims of this sorrowful moment."[26]
He appeared on videotape on a VH-1 pre-show for the October 2001 Concert for New York City, condemning the attacks and singing his song "Peace Train" for the first time in public in more than 20 years--an a cappella version. He also donated half of his box-set royalties to the September 11 Fund for victims' families, and the other half to orphans in underdeveloped countries.

We know we live in a police state, when the issue that concerns you most has to be hidden from work colleagues. I couldnt even say the date, becuase it would start me off!
I sensed a lot of tension and nervousness yesterday, a collective sense of dread and rememberance of such extremity.
Its the day all our civil rights began to dissolve |

How George Bush and Dick Chaney can have the front to stand there paying respects to all those innocent people who died on 9/11 knowing what they know about what really happened beats be.
It makes me sick.
And it makes me ****ing angry too.
The US goverment should be BANNED from taking part in any rememberance event of 9/11.
Sorry but that's the way i feel. _________________ One sure way for evil to prevail, is for the good to do nothing. |

I have to admit I joined this forum to read through the posts of people who have researched this subject, I am not aware of all the facts and theories but am very interested in hearing about them.
Considering the issue has been on my mind recently I thought I would say a few words just to explain how I feel.
my heart really goes out to the victims and to their families,
I agree with the views expressed here and am in no doubt that the people in power played a key role in the deaths of so many innocents,
Only the thing is..... I don't want to believe the truth, as I am sure many people don't.
It does seem to me that people are beginning to accept that it may be a possibility.
but that just makes me wonder
could our society recover from the truth?

Hi Uber, the question you should really ask is can our civilisation survive when those who control media and the war mongering machine are left to practice their evil unchallenged?
Throughout history ordinary people have stood against massive forces of evil and prevailed. Simply because if they had not, the consequences would have been too dire to contemplate. |

Welcome Uber Geek.
I feel that it matters not. It would not so much 'recover' more 'evolve'. Would you want a world that did not face up the atrocites and removal of freedoms, that we are permitting?
I will not be held back by the fear of breaking a few eggs in order to make the planet a nicer place to be. Your question represents the harsh reality for many who are on the edge of breaking through. A question we must all face and realise that its time to take some responsibity for our part in it - we permit it, by our inaction.
Whats the alternative? ......Brush that under the carpet?....'Oh i see another 5 solidiers have been killed in Iraq, such a shame. Now whats on the telly, oh look its celebrity mouth to mouth resusitation, can't wait' _________________ It's not about terror, its about illusion. It's not about war, it's about you
