Sniper Bait

In a recent Washington Post article, it has been revealed that the Pentagon has (and in all likelihood still is) encouraging US snipers to "target suspected insurgents by scattering pieces of bait". This 'bait' includes detonator cords, plastic explosives, and ammunition. Pick it up, get shot in the head. What could be more simple? As we all know, after all, insurgents regularly scour the streets for loose bits of detonator cord.

The potential consequences of this couldn't be more obvious. The amoral implication of our military leaders even moreso.

so if you pick it up to turn it in so it wont get to some terrorist then youre killed?or if youre retarded and have no idea what it is youre killed?we wouldnt do that in usa but we did bring our"democracy " to the iraqis

dont pick up anything ,walk in a straight line, smile for the cameras everywhere, dont be Brazilian, dont run , dont chew gum, carry a newspaper that has all the "true news"

Not that they've needed much of an excuse to blow children up until now... it's like General Pace coming out again and saying how gay people don't belong in "God's" army. Riiiggghhht. Because he's really in a position to be speaking about morality.
