ID CARDS
Now going through the Lords / Commons ping-pong stage of legislation. ID Cards look to become the la in the next few month, and their implementation is scheduled for 2007/8. Whether this timetable will be kept to depends on the level of resistance. Happily many national unions have policy opposing the introduction of the cards (their members will largely be responsible for policing the scheme), and the amount of opposition in general is heart-warming.
Now the campaign is moving from parliamentary lobbying to grass-roots resistance, the campaign (NO2ID) is calling an open planning meeting, to which you are most welcome:

As with the STWC, No2ID leadership has been approached re 9/11 truth and as with STWC, whether for greater perceived credibility or gatekeeping, the leadership show no interest or curiosity re 9/11.

As with STWC the membership is a different story and so leafletting outside such events is often fruitful
