I don't think individuals like Alex Jones and others who give all their time to promoting 9/11 truth issues and the like should feel guilty about selling DVD's for money......nor should anyone else.
The real problem that most of us have is that we can't find the time or the money to do the work we know needs doing.
As a schoolteacher I believe that I am taking money to support the very machine I loathe. It hurts. I don't know how much longer I will continue at it.....but here we all are.....little cogs in the banker-controlled world. Like you and everyone else we all have to materially survive, and maybe support the lives of others.
ALL the opposition in the mainstream media and the political arena who promote the murderous lies that we are trying to expose are very well paid for their efforts.
Let us not judge nor condemn any of our allies who makes a pitiful few quid to support their activities while campaigning.
...this same question was asked (by the first Christian evangelists, the apostles....but about accepting food and shelter, rather than money, I think) of Christ. He said,
"The labourer deserves his wages." |

Those who spend time, money and resources on distributing information should not be called capitalists.
If campaigners actively pool their resources and strengths there would no need to ask for money for events or merchandise. I would rather give a few quid to someone who spends all their time working on awakening the publics eyes to the truth than a call centre slave who gives away their dvds for free.
Excuse me for ranting. _________________ www.freecycle.org

Room hire, equipment hire, posters, flyers, banners, DVDs, travel, accommodation, cameras, tapes, software etc etc all cost a great deal of time and money to sort out.
If we don't cover our costs then regular events can't continue. If we don't make a profit then we can't invest it future activism outside the scope of regional events.
Maybe this is already 'non profit' as the money goes directly back into funding action.
IMO groups should be aiming to make a profit so they can continue to grow, with that said the groups I work with only request donations at events.. this is so people from all walks of life can attend and get the information for free (the unemployed, students, pensioners etc).
Also if you're working full time on getting the message out there, like I and a few others on this forum do, I think you're entitled to feed yourself and make sure you have a reasonable standard of living. _________________ RINF Alternative News and Media
