Here's an important reference page to bookmark regarding the War Profiteers who are making the most money off of wars. Thanks to "curious" at STA for this find.

http://www.publicintegrity.org/WOWII/database.aspx?act=toponehundredco ntractors

Of course above and beyond all of the corporations listed are the Oil Companies on whose behalf the wars were started in the first place. No one much doubts any more that the purpose of invading Iraq was to secure oil. Even fairly high up people have now admitted this.

One big surprise to me the is the (unnumbered) number one war profiteer. It is listed as:

* Unidentified Foreign Entities -- $20,435,870,190

Not so surprising is #1, KBR which is somehow part of Halliburton, or was.

#1. KBR Inc (formerly known as Kellogg Brown and Root) $16,059,282,020

Who's been the #1 proponent of these wars? Vice President Cheney, formerly of Halliburton.

Where are all these profits of the killing fields coming from?

Right out of YOUR pocket and from your daily labors.

By that list KBR had 78% of the top 100 contract cash for Afghanistan and Iraq between 2004 and 2006.

That's 16 billion dollars folks.
