Does anyone know exactly (or roughly) when the DVD of Loose Change Final Cut will be available to people in the UK? Currently, the official website says, "The DVD is NOT available for delivery to Great Britain at this point." I'm keen to get a copy for myself and have said I'd buy it as a present for others as well, so it would be helpful to know. _________________ http://www.shoestring911.blogspot.com |

I saw the film Sunday and, (like the beeb used to be) found it informative educational and entertaining, i doubt there will be a 'Screw loose Change final cut'. The Q&A session (with producer Tim Spark?)at the end was very lively too. I may be spending someone else's money but maybe they could have given us a abstract transcript handout of the LCFC main facts or produced a programme? (A subliminal 3 frame shot of Guy Smith's living room may have been an ironic touch don't you think?) |

Audience figures I picked up from the Ritzy, Brixton, my local where it was screened, were: Saturday 129, Sunday 103. Full capacity of the auditorium is 175. The movie was shown at the time of week when audiences are lowest: midday Saturday and Sunday and the weather was cold, not conducive to getting people out of their homes to go to the cinema.
I hear the management of Picture Houses, the firm that owns that cinema and a chain of others across the country, were pleased though to date I have not heard whether it will go on general release throughout the chain.
Leafletting for the screening in the Brixton area was informative. I gave out hundreds of flyers and spoke to lots of people I handed them to. Most people reacted positively. I only heard one probably negative remark: "Oh it's not another brain-washing Michael Moore type movie is it?"
Well done to everyone who came and who helped get the word out. |

If Stefan's views of the film are representative then maybe Tim and Dylan should consider how it may be improved.
audience feedback would have been useful. _________________ Currently working on a new website |
