Iraq War Victim Ali Abbas living on charity?

I hope the mods don't mind me posting this here but I feel really strongly about this. On TV last week (the BBC no less!) there was a documentary about , probably, Bush and bliar's most famous Iraqi casualty (not making light of it but bush and bliar's only disarmament in Iraq) young Ali Abbas. It showed how he was living on charity in a house in Richmond with his carer uncle. The charity money runs out next year and Ali, with all his terrible injuries inflicted upon him by the illegal invasion will then have to look after himself. Surely Bush and bliar owe him FFS? what is their rationale? they have no legal liability? combined UN resolutions gave them licence to destroy as many innocent lives as they wished? giving anything to Ali would set an expensive precedent?
I recall one time bliar using Ali as an all cheesy grins photo opportunity (Campbell's sick idea?) makes me want to literally throw up when I think about this.

The boy whose plight symbolised the suffering of the Iraq War is about to become a British citizen.
Ali Abbas, 18, has passed the Government's Life in the UK test which means he could have a passport within weeks.
As a 12-year-old, he lost both of his arms when two stray Allied bombs destroyed his home in Baghdad in 2003.
Speaking from his home in London last night, Ali said: "I would be really happy to get my British passport.
"I have lived here since August 2003 and I love the UK. I'll always be an Iraqi and I consider Iraq to be my home and where my heart is but I feel British too now. Britain has done a lot of good things for me and the British people have been very kind.
"I hope that as a British citizen I could give something positive back."
Ali's parents and 13 other relatives were killed in the botched attack and he suffered horrific burns.
He was rescued from a dilapidated Baghdad hospital and flown to Kuwait and then London for treatment.
Ali has prosthetic limbs but finds them too heavy so he learned to use his feet for tasks such as writing and cleaning his teeth.
Donations from Daily Mirror readers helped pay his living costs but the fund is almost empty. Ali said: "Now I've passed the test I can concentrate on finishing my education and getting a job."
A Home Office source said: "Ali's application will be a straightforward case and I can't see any hold-ups."
