Loose Change - Final Cut will be screened in London at The Gate cinema, Notting Hill, on 23rd December at noon.
This is going really well, so please spread the word again. _________________ All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good people to do nothing - Edmund Burke.

So who's going to this? Only 12 seats are booked at the moment.
I'm going with my sister and her sceptical boyfriend. |

I should have done some flyering for this. There were only about 10 people there.
Still, my sister's boyfriend was pretty blown away by the film, having approached it so cautiously.
Seeing it on the big screen it hit me how impressive and mature this film is. This is probably our greatest tool in awakening the public so let's really push these screenings! |

The trouble seems to be that the company, Picture Houses, gives this movie the least popular screening times within their chain. I bust a gut leafletting for the Brixton screenings. Looks like we'll have to do that for all the others. A cold Sunday afternoon two days before Christmas can't be an easy time to fill an auditorium for a documentary.

I went to the gate cinema website and read that 'Loose Change Final Cut' has been given a '15' rating, is this a typo or correct? |

TBH that doesn't surprise me. My ex-local in Henley is also a part of the PictureHouse chain and I am going to push for a screening there.
I might be tempted just to put an advert in the local paper. _________________ Currently working on a new website |

They definately screwed up the hyping of the film... it was late pure and simple, it should have been released on Sep 11th 2007.
Also, Avery etc should have had agents in the UK getting it into independent picture houses at least, but instead were holding the movie back to try and make as much cash from it as possible. This infact actually minimising the ammount of cash they could hope to recoup.
A better marketing ploy would have improved it's chances. |

Although I tend to agree with Brian, I am wondering whether the plan might be to get the word around in time for next September. _________________ Currently working on a new website |
