After our first social in the The Barley Mow, Annie told the manager that the London 9/11Truth group were happy with the venue and that we would continue the twice-a-month bookings for the foreseeable future. He replied that he was very happy to agree to that. Annie telephoned again, two days ago and was told by the manager this time, that there had been a mistake on his part, that he had missed a booking that had been made some months ago, so unfortunately, we could not have the room. He told us the room had been taken instead by a London Transport Tube drivers organisation. He added that the room thereafter will be closed for refurbishment for some months. I am sure the irony in this story, is not lost to those of us with 7th July, 2005 in mind.
