Gestapo Watch - Liverpool Couple Terrorised

Liverpool Police in full riot gear and wielding guns smash down the front door breaking into the house of an unsuspecting couple whilst they were in bed. Scaring the life out of the couple they force the mans head into the couch and search his house for "a cannabis factory". The so called cannabis factory turned out to be a central heating boiler (as if you could get the 2 mixed up) in the couples loft.
To make matters worse the police then tried to laugh the matter off leaving the couple with a £400 bill to replace their front door.

Having seen photos of these cannabis factories it begs the question why the need to storm the building in full gear and carrying guns. Do they think the occupants are going to try and flush 500 cannabis plants down the toilet.
A simple knock at the door with a search warrant would probably suffice. These tactics will only end up with some policeman and drug grower getting shot.
