"There is a situation rearing its ugly head in America that will dramatically change our lives: The devaluation of the US Dollar. The green dollar bills now in our possession are worth 100 cents. A new, red-back dollar has already been printed and shipped overseas for distribution. When the devaluation hits, we hear that our greenbacks could suddenly be worth as little as 25 cents, and the red-backs, held by foreigners, worth 100 cents. An acquaintance tells us he received some red-back dollars from a foreign tourist already. So, the green-for-red exchange overseas could be starting to take place. This could mean that trips overseas, oil, as well as every import could cost us four times more than they do today. How many Americans will lose their homes, and how many businesses across this nation will go into the tank is anybody’s guess. We could suddenly become economic prisoners in our own country.
