9/11 truth messages from Hollywood?

I've just seen a painfully grim film called 'Before the Devil Know You're Dead' I won't spoil it by giving away the plot totally, basically it's a family drama/tragedy tht centres around an inside job robbery gone wrong.

Post 9/11 we've had 'V for Vendetta' and one of the Starwars films clearly trying to tell us something.

Don't forget Oliver Stone's 'World Trade Centre'. which if I recall correctly, had lines stating the Pentgon was hit by a missile, and the Shanksville aircraft was shot down. (And the film made no effort to correct these 'mistakes')

And does anyone remember 'Towering Inferno' about a raging fire in a world's tallest skyscraper. Many people jump out of the building rather than roast but most are rescued by the fireman (Steve McQueen), the architect (Paul Newman) and a dodgy chairlift. But it really loses credibility when the fire does NOT cause the skyscraper to collapse/implode in a heap of dust or even vaporize! Artistic license I suppose...

Is there a 9/11 message in the excellent new Hollywood film 'Cloverfield'? It is the same format as 'The Blair Witch Project' all filmed on jumpy video cam, it starts at a surprise party for a family member who is about to emigrate to Japan with his company for several years, the party is abruptly halted by a massive tremor that hits New York. What caued the tremor was a Godzilla type monster who has just beheaded the statue of liberty(hidden message1?)tossing Liberty's dismembered head into the Manhatten streets. The film then follows the travails of several friends trying to escape New York but the clearest 9/11 reference is when one young character attempts to rescue his girlfriend from the 39th floor of her tower block,the alien has smashed the 10th floor of it causing it to fall and lean onto its near twin tower... NOT disintigrate to micro powder and 30ft steel lengths!

I think the film did more to reinforce the established meme of 9/11 by showing the iconic dust running through the streets. It didn't really do anything to challenge the accepted version of 9/11 so really it was just a another swing of repititions hammer, helping to remind us all of the 'al qaeda attack' that occured that day.

I really enjoyed that film.

It's truly bizarre the images that have appeared in major films. I remember Men in Black with the alien birth scene with the twin towers strikingly highlighted in the background, appearing almost illusory in the bright New York sunshine, precisely the sort of day of their destruction. The aliens tentacles appear to be crawling all over them at one point, which is not to say anything other than it was a strange image and one made very poignant by what happened shortly after.

Every time I see a film now with the Twin Towers I feel sad, for the structures themselves but more importantly for those who died that day at the hands of elite criminal pond scum. It's one of the reasons I'll never simply accept their ludicrous version of what happened that day. They'll always have people like us chasing them down, and it's important that they know that.

I saw Rendition recently which is excellent. A sympathetic and entirely rounded Muslim engineer kidnapped by the US government and tortured by Egyptians. A nonsense ending of course, because the CIA man in charge has a conscience and releases him. But it shows the clueless public a side to this nonsense war on terror that they don't often see, the innocent victims and their families whose only crime is being Muslim.

At the end of Speilberg's 'Munich' just before the end credits there is something like "nine of the eleven...." showing on the screen with the towers centre left of picture.
