That is a rather weak essay by Sagadevan.

To write "soon chasing after a car" when there were days in between (Tuesday the car chase, Saturday the murder) is misleading.

There is no indication of whether any of the guns matched the type used in the murder which would be known.

There is too much conjecture really and whilst it does seem odd that the passengers were released, without knowing the normal procedure it tells us little.
