This from Mark, who is in the news today. He's just been fined £500 for daring to have a teddy bears' picnic outside the Houses of Parliament within the protest-free zone. He's refusing to pay up and is prepared to go to prison. So let's give him some support.

Folks
After the events of these last few weeks I am exhausted! But enough of
the sob story. This Sunday would be really good to have a decent turn
out as if the media are there, as I suspect they will be, it would be
really good to get a diversity of views and numbers on camera so that
we can show them how united we are against 132.
And re campaign strategy: i think we have to raise our campaign
against the Exclusion Zone to a more formal level - involving MPs and
the like. There is a lot to get clear about in relation to this and
the event on April 22nd and 23rd, and also a plan needs forming for
May 1st. Would be good to have as manay as possible there to discuss
all this.
Please come and help show solidarity against the Anti-Freedom Zone this weekend!
Best Wishes
M

"Ahimsa" --- refusal to inflict injury on others.
>A) Ahimsa is dictated by our commitment to communication and to
sharing of our pieces of the truth. Violence shuts off channels of
communication.
>B) The concept of ahimsa appears in most major religions, which
suggests that while it may not be practiced by most people, it is
respected as an ideal.
>C) Ahimsa is an expression of our concern that our own and other's
humanity be manifested and respected. _________________ All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good people to do nothing - Edmund Burke.
