Schoolgirl Shannon Matthews has been made the subject of an Emergency Police Protection Order after she was found safe and well in Dewsbury.
The order was made after she was found at an address in Batley Carr, said West Yorkshire Police.

The order will remain in place until police have had time to establish the full facts behind her disappearance.

It's just a hunch but I think this was a scam by the step dad to create media attention and a 'Madelaine' type of hunt-fund. Could be wrong of course.
