In flight cell phone calls

There appears to be a number of recent articles surrounding the introduction of Pico cell technology onto flights in EU airspace. Whilst some earlier ones I hadn't seen before mention the end of 'in flight in-communicado' issues made possible by the new technologies.

Hi reflector was going to post this one myself yesterday. Seems rather odd all this hulabaloo about mobile phones when their was no problem 7 years ago!
