The Three Hasina Patels

Confused? You will be …

On Tuesday July 12th 2005 police raided several homes in Dewsbury, linked to three Hasina Patels. The real Hasina Patel (widow of Siddique Khan) has since remarried and now lives in Sheffield - she appears not to be available for questioning. If I have got this right, police raided
(1) a home in Millbrook Gardens, home of Farida Patel (Mother of Hasina) where HP might have been staying. That's where Farida now lives.
(2) Police were also seen entering Ms Patel’s house in Dale Street.
(3) Arshad Patel is the brother of HP and he may have been staying at Thornhill Park Avenue, maybe with Farida Patel. (This home was put up for sale November 2005 – so it sounds as if the trauma of the police raid made them want to leave it – did they then move to Lees Holm?)
(4) Arshad and HP seem to have another brother Ahmed, who is married to a Hasina Patel and they live at Pentland Road. The police also raided this house. His wife has the same name as his sister!
(5) Another HP lived with her husband Rashid Sacha (not Fasha) in ‘the same road in which Khan and his wife HP lived.’ These two got married in Dewsbury in 2000, the year before Khan and HP got married in Dewsbury. Initial naming of Khan as one of the ‘bombers’ confused his name with ‘Rashid Fasha.’

Does that sound OK? Rashid Sacha married Hasina S. Patel, while Ahmed is married to Hasina B.G.Patel. ‘Kier’ also ascertained from the electoral role 2002 – 2005 that there were ‘two Mohammed Khans living in Lees Holm, Dewsbury' - one is reminded of Webster Tarpley’s axiom that ‘Doubles are an infallible sign of an intelligence operation.’

astro3,

These raids were on 9 May 2007, not in 2005.

Hmm, that's interesting. The 9/11 movement's AGM was in Leeds that year 2007 and was held 11-13 May, so the police arrest immediately prior to that was primarily focussed on getting Hasina Patel out of OUR way - so eg people like Adrian wouldn't be dropping by and doing a video-interveiw with her. So to be on the safe side they checked out all three Hasina Patel households. Does that sound about right?

There were no reports of a raid in Lees Holm in 2007. Only two Hasina Patel households were raided.

Who can fathom the wiles of the Counter Terrorism Command?

Let's try one more time -

The Three Hasina Patels

The police raided Dewsbury south of Leeds on 12th July 2005, and then again on 9th May, 2007, on each occasion visiting the houses of two Hasina Patels. (I am indebted to a conversation with Arshad Patel, Hasina’s brother, for clarification)

On July, 2005, the police come to five different homes, including:
1. Thornhill Park Avenue, where Arshad Patel lived with his wife.
2. HP and Farida were living at Lees Holm cul-de-sac.
3. Also the police visited ‘Rashid Fasha’ who was married to a Hasina Patel and living in Lees Holm, ie the police visited two houses in Lees Holm.

On May, 2007
1. HP and Farida were in Millbrook gardens when the police arrived and arrested HP at 7 am. (Briefly after the police raid in 2005 they had moved to Pentland Road Dewsbury, as the Thornhill Park Avenue house was offered for sale).
2. Also they visited a Dale Street house where her brother Ahmed lived, and arrested him. His wife was Hasina Patel, i.e his wife has the same name as his sister.
3. Her other brother Arshad was also arrested, and like HP spent seven days in Paddington Green without being charged.

Mohammed Sidique Khan was not on any electoral register, because he never voted, and his Islamic marriage to HP in 2001 was not ‘legal’ in that she did not take his name (she remained ‘Patel’) and they did not go to a registry office. So anyone imputting the name ‘Hasina Patel’ for Dewsbury came up with the name of Rashid Fasha – who, by one of life’s odd coincidences, lived in the same street. And so it was that, from the 13th July for a week or so afterwards, press were using Fasha’s name rather than MSK’s.

I have not been able to verify the claim that ‘2 Mohammed Khans’ lived in the same road, presumably Lees Holm.

My comments: To an extraordinary degree, these arrests appear focussed upon one individual, the widow Hasina Patel, rather then other relatives of the four familes. Maybe they were hoping to silence her. Now, when the Kingston trial involves her handing over probably-bogus tapes that would incriminate her husband, the authorities must be hoping that they have succeeded and that she will stay silent. Let's recall that her Mother was arguably the most eminent person in Dewsbury, plus her father (HP's grandather) had quite a reputation for radical polical protest, was it about Apartheid?
