|
|
Chatting to a very distraught curry shop owner last night who said the Immigration Laws where changing in 3 Years, so effectively he was being kicked out the country even though he runs a business and is paying his way??
Anyone heard anything like this or is this an isolated case where the guy is trying to win simpathy?? (Maybe his business isn't enough to make ends meet or something)
He said the report was on TV and was designed to tackle Eastern European immigrants but as I understand it if they have a full EU passport nothing can stop them from emigrating? _________________ 'Come and see the violence inherent in the system.

I don't have the details but one thing is clear: the government's policy towards immigration-control are politically led, pandering to those who keep grumbling about "too many immigrants" and groups like the BNP which thrive on xenophobia and race hate.
The government can't do much to control internal immigration within the EU so it concentrates on tightening regulations from non-EU countries and it seems the Third World nations are worst hit.
There still seem to be plenty of North Americans and antipodeans who live & work in Britain. Presumably they have professional qualifications which favour them, I don't know.
A point worth making: back in the 'seventies an ex-UK diplomat, Ronald Higgins, wrote a book called THE SEVENTH ENEMY in which he predicted the planetary crisis which we are now undergoing. Part of that crisis would involve resource wars and famine of the kind we are experiencing together with massive cross-border immigration, particularly from the poor to the rich countries.
From my perspective, it is all part of the anarchy of the globalist capitalist system where, as Higgins poignantly observed, the final, seventh enemy is man himself. _________________ One Planet - One People - One Destiny
