I'd like to inform readers of a 9/11 blog www.wtcdemolition.com/blog for the mainstream of the 9/11 truth movement that is not controlled by gatekeepers, as are certain high profile 9/11 truth forums in the US. This forum has been up and running for a couple of years and was mainly started by people who became frustrated by what has happened at 911Blogger and TruthAction.org over the last couple of years, in which a small group of self-proclaimed movement "leaders" and "proctectors" began to control or bias the discourse at those forums towards LIHOP, especially blocking discussion of anything outside of the dogma "Of course Flt 77 hit the Pentagon and anyone who disagrees is disinfo or crazy!", attacking those who argue that no muslim terrorists were involved in 9/11, along with efforts to marginalize and suppress open discussion of Israeli/Zionist involvement in 9/11.

As an example of the extreme measures of control and gatekeeping involved at those sites, CIT researchers Craig and Aldo have been banned at both 911Blogger and TruthAction, along with countless other bloggers who would not follow lock-step in condemning CIT and who wouldn't abide by the virtual rule that "you can't discuss the Pentagon attack unless you believe Flight 77 crashed there". Obviously, the mainstream truth movement has moved well beyond those absurd strictures, as evidence uncovered by Pilots for 9/11 Truth and Citizens' Investigation Team over the last couple of years continues to mount against the thoroughly discredited position of the government's Official Fairy Tale of the Pentagon attack, as one example. Rather than staying current with mainstream research, those sites often seem to be more interested in discussing rumors about Kevin Barret's private life or discussing Lynden LaRouche, or doing hit pieces against Pilots for 9/11 Truth (because one person, John Leer, signed up to P4T and then came out as a no-planer in typical COINTELPRO-like fashion) along with other non-issuess and divisive/destructive discourse, like demanding that other 9/11 truthers follow lock-step in condeming anyone who that group of controllers so decides should be blacklisted from the movement at their whim.

Many people have noted that certain bloggers at those sites who hold minority viewpoints are given free rain and favored treatment, while others seem to be marginalized or banned at the whim of that small minority.

For people who are tired of that COINTELPRO-like behavior evidenced at those other forums and believe that a 9/11 truth forum should represent the views of the mainstream of the movement, which is much more along the lines of MIHOP, or at least in which the dialogue is not controlled to such an extent and in which important aspects of a full accounting and inquiry of 9/11 is not supressed, wtcdemolition.com is a good alternative.

Here is the new mission statement:

"Welcome to the discussion board of the WTC Demolition site. This is a moderated forum for inquiry into the events of September 11, 2001. We hold that the attacks of 9/11 were perpetrated by as-yet-unknown actors whose intent was to provide a justification for a pre-existing agenda. In short, their goals include establishing dominance over a strategically important region at the expense of the rights and lives of the people who call that region home.

WTCD is run by and for individuals who recognize that much of the online discourse pertaining to the real nature of 9/11 (what most people refer to as "9/11 Truth") is dominated and controlled by individuals who are working against the ability of the truth movement to arrive at the fullest possible accounting of those events. Fundamentally, we recognize that the efforts of this minority are aimed at limiting the scope of 9/11 skepticism to issues that do not challenge any underlying presumptions about the legitimacy of the so-called “war on terror” – in essence, to preserving the myth of an “Islamofascist menace” even as the historical narrative of 9/11 is revised.

Specifically, we feel that the following issues deserve a more open, vigorous, and rational debate than is welcomed on many sites which purport to forward the cause of 9/11 Truth: whether the planes used on 9/11 were actually the flights alleged, whether the alleged hijackers were onboard and in control, whether the damage to the Pentagon was indeed caused by a large commercial jet. In addition, we are committed to an unflinching investigation into the role played by the state of Israel and its partisans in the attacks. With regard to the latter, we categorically reject any claim or insinuation that either Jewish people in general or ordinary Israeli citizens have any responsibility for or derive any benefit from illicit actions by the state of Israel or its partisans, whom we call Zionists.

We reject all forms of racism and bigotry; therefore, we have a zero-tolerance policy on the site for rhetoric which promotes hate or violence. However, we are careful to differentiate between hateful rhetoric and the reasoned discussion of subjects which – like 9/11 – are considered off limits to skepticism by many. We seek understanding and through it peace for all people regardless of “race,” religion, or nationality. Thus, we remain uncompromising in our efforts to discern the reality behind the screen of propaganda that has been used throughout history to divide humanity for the sake of the narrow interests of the powerful few."

To be scrupulously fair though, 911blogger at least appears to have not only cleaned up its act recently but is now admitting fact from such tenacious bloggers as Jon Gold, Aidan Monaghan et al to shine through...
