Jason Bermas: What's your view on 9/11? We've had people like Willie Nelson, Jesse Ventura, Senators, Congressmen come on and doubt the official version.


Do you doubt the official version of 9/11, Tommy?

Tommy Chong: Oh, absolutely, absolutely. There are so many horror stories about 9/11 that have been kept quiet. It'll be like the Kennedy assassination. Years later we'll find out the truth.

Jason Bermas: What do you think some of the biggest inconsistencies of the official version are?

Tommy Chong: Well, the biggest inconsistency is the fact that, "Who was allowed to fly after everything was shut down?" It was the Bin Laden's. ...

Tommy Chong: The powers that be, they're perverting justice. And we get outraged because we believe in the Constitution and all that. But there was even reports about Pearl Harbor being a setup. At least they knew that it was coming and they could have done a lot more than what they did to stop it. But they needed Pearl Harbor in order to launch the bigger war and that was the same as 9/11. It it wasn't for 9/11, we wouldn't have had Bush in the White House.

Jason Bermas: I agree with you there.

And then you have the Project for a New American Century, which is this neocon think tank, including Cheney and Wolfowitz, and people like Dan Quayle where they actually call for this "New Pearl Harbor" in a document called Rebuilding America's Defenses, only three months before the [9/11] attacks where they say they need it in order to transform the Middle East or Eurasia

Tommy Chong: Yeah, yeah, and it's all to subvert and to get the national -- to get the oil, to get their hands on the oil.

Tommy may well be a poster boy for dope but is perfectly clued up as his appearance in American Drug War clearly shows, where he was targeted and entrapped via his nephew as a high profile arrest to demonstrate to others of profile to tow the line, as no one is untouchable. Todays guy in the transformers t-shirt is just another joe public reminder in similar fashion.

Frankly anyone should be pleased to have such a timeless character take a position on this. He's surely seen enough injustice under the Neo-CONS to be allowed a public position? He may hold some sway among the smokers aswell, which cant be a bad thing as isn't everyone at it? Besides it wont amount to nowt anyway, so I wouldn't worry about it too much Tony.

Which is about right, even if we don't know for sure what right is and how to right that wrong! Now where did I leave that bong?

In addition we need poster boys for the hemp movement for a better future. Sure it ain't a solve all but regardless of MMGW or not, hemp would help with deforestation, put an end to un-degradeable plastics and carrier bag phobias, provide a solid cash crop to any country, clean fuel and good food and even decent safe medicine. Hell even if you burn it it's got some positive effect! Cant argue with that.

Who holds more sway anyway, Willie Nelson, Erica Jong, Seth Green, Charlie Sheen, Jesse Ventura, Woody Harrelson, Steve Alten, Penn n Teller, Trey Parker, Matt Stone, Bill O'Reilly a few random politicians on either side? Not many are even tuned in at present anyway.

I watched a Cheech and Chong movie with my kids recently, and it was the most boring, unfunny and stupid film we'd ever seen in our relatively long and short lives. Unfunny dope and sex remains just that. Unfunny.
Still, I suppose there must be many ways they want to bring half-truths into mass consciousness and this might be one of them
