We've all heard of the US 'Defcon' system of war readiness.

But what about here in the UK, do we have a similar system or just do what the US tell us to? Rolling Eyes

Come to think of it are we citizen/subjects even allowed to know what defence condition we are at? Is it considered an official secret covered up in the interests of 'National Security'?
With the new boy nut case in charge of the US Military.......
