I've just received a "Final Warning" from Tony Gosling, on account of referring to a certain "notorious anti-semitic forgery" in my signature.

I wish to make it clear that:

I was not aware of the new and further restriction of what we're allowed to discuss here.
I disagree with it profoundly.
I think it's a serious error of judgement.
Notwithstanding the above, I acknowlege Tony Gosling's practical (as opposed to moral) authority to impose any rule he likes, and I will reluctantly accept this additional restriction in order to keep posting here.

I know you don't like such things being discussed publicly, but I put it to you that if you make a decision like this, you should be prepared to justify it in the forum, or at the very least, allow me to acknowlege my acceptance of it under protest.


In general, I believe that openness and honesty are always the best approach to resolving disagreements, provided there is good will on both sides.

It follows that I think all matters relating to how the forum is run should be discussed as widely and publicly as possible. It seems to me that anything short of this indicates that someone somewhere has something to hide.


Oh - and branding me a "9/11 Truth critic" is patently absurd - please will you remove this slur?
