|
|
As has been mentioned many times previously, there are serious limitations with using a public forum especially if it is perceived to represent the campaign. For a start with so many people using pseudonyms, it is impossible to know who are campaigners who are known to have a proven track record of campaigning on 9/11 and who are not. So it has been decided to establish a private forum for known campaigners to share and discuss ideas. The focus of the forum is intended to be campaigning. This forum will continue but will be reworked so that it is clear that it does not represent the 911 truth campaign (GB & I). Only time will tell whether creating a private forum helps us in attempts to professionalise the campaign but I hope to see many of you over there

Application to join the private forum of the 911 truth campaign (GB & I)
Introduction to the campaign
The campaign recognises that there is a diverse range of opinion amongst 9/11 truth campaigners. We aim to unite all shades of opinion (including opinions as disparate as those of Michael Meacher and David Icke) among those who doubt the US government's official account of the 911 attacks.
The campaign does not endorse any one presentation of the evidence or any individual supporter's words. What we do say is when taken in totality the evidence overwhelmingly supports the need to reopen 9/11 investigation. The greatest challenge is lack of public awareness and debate of this evidence. To promote this awareness and debate is our primary purpose. Investigate freely, speak your own truth and free others to speak theirs
We seek to work across any political, social or religious divides. We seek tolerance, debate and diversity across the movement. We aim to be a welcoming, open and transparent movement that unites rather than divides and works for peace, transparency, disclosure, accountability, justice, reconciliation, truth and global transformation.
We will act respectfully both within and beyond the campaign. We promote only non-violent campaigning and will work for legal justice for any one who, out of conscience breaks the law in acts of non-violent, civil disobedience or in efforts to uncover the truth or who is disadvantaged due to their beliefs.
Private forum
The campaign provides a private forum in order to promote discussion and co-operation. The content of the forum is private. The campaign takes no responsibility for the content of the forum nor the content of websites linked from the forum. All users are individually responsible for their own contribution and forum administrators reserve to right to terminate any account. Applicants are required to use their real names and provide two referees already known to the campaign who can confirm their identity and integrity (to the best of their knowledge). The campaign does not share personal information with third parties and operates according to UK law.
If you wish to join this forum, please complete the following application form and email it to webmaster (AT) 911truthcampaign.net and cc’ing your 2 referees and ianneal (AT) fastmail.fm and mickmeaney (AT) hotmail.com putting “private forum application” in the title.

A small typo there Ian: conscience not conscious.
That's the kind of error spell checks won't pick up as both are legitimate English words.

I can't credit myself with having done any campaigning. All I have done to date is built a website and tried to inform friends and family about the events of 9/11, 7/7 etc. I don't expect to be accepted into the private forum and for that reason I won't be applying. However, I would like to get involved in campaigning and would welcome any information or contacts that would help me in doing so. Anybody who can provide me with a starting point or a local group I can join in manchester or anything of that nature can either PM me or email me at danielheaton85@gmail.com
Thanks. _________________

Ian,
If we recieve a CC as a recommendation for someone else what is the proceedure? Are we supposed to mail back and approve or do you contact us when you process the application or do you just assume the approval is there if there is no response? _________________

I'd presume this is dependent on whether the person is well known to those approving the application.
I've offered reference to a restricted band of people who are not well known nationally but in whom I have absolute faith
This is a touch of bureaucracy but I think untrolled land looks rather nice for some things _________________ http://www.exopolitics-leeds.co.uk/introduction |

By cc'ing those who an applicant uses as a reference, we are working on the assumption that if this referee has a concern with any application they will say so by return email. So the presumption is that an application is approved unless an objection is raised. |

Your not missing too much at the moment Paul, as the forum is not that busy.
I can understand how you feel but sadly what happened here on this forum cannot be allowed to develop again it is just too damaging to the way forward. There are some real idiots around who are hell bent on self gratification and fail to see the damage it can cause to everyone.
Please understand that no one is too far up their own *rse to understand how you must feel.
Give me a PM and we can sort out a telephone call, better still why not come to Eastern Haze in a couple of weeks and join in the fun, beats internet forums hands down.
The last thing I want to see is any elitism developing. _________________ It's not about terror, its about illusion. It's not about war, it's about you

As Light says it is still fairly sleepy over there but you are v welcome.
If I were in Southend I would take Light up on his offer, meeting up is considerably more fun than typing on a computer |
