Tony - notwithstanding that I think you're running this forum badly and in a way that is not in the interests of it's stated aims, I'd like to wish you well, and my sincere best wishes at this difficult time. Don't let the *stards grind you down. Stay brave and true to yourself.

Tony doesnt just talk the talk: he walks the walk: and thats exactly why hes the guy this forum needs
Although your support is appreciated, your politicing is not:
The only force making you be here is YOU simple simon: if its not to your liking, take yourself somewhere else, or even more: build something better: if you can Meanwhile, it is truly touching that the State cares so much about the welfare of one woman and her children that they will go to such levels to help her, including making allegations of obstructing recovery (bailiffs?) and credit card theft to excuse blatent fishing expeditions
We must be doing something right Smile

It seems to me that in your haste to "politic", endorse Tony Gosling's forum policies, and blow smoke up his bum, you have embarrassed yourself.
All I know about this is based on Adrian's post, and the linked bbc article. Prima facia, it isn't a "fishing expedition" and has nothing to do with bailiffs. If that wasn't obvious to you from Adrian's post, searching "recovery order" would have told you that without even reading
beyond the results summaries.
If you really had to try to be clever and liked, and suck up to Tony in that thread, it would have been more impressive if you had referred to it as state suppression of a dissident.
Prima facia, that's what it is, and of course a means of finding an "outlaw" with dangerous information. But let's not get too excited.
My post was from one dissident to another, who I happen to disagree with on some important matters of principle and strategy.
While I admire Tony for the sacrifices he seems to have made in a noble cause, it has exactly nothing to do with his policies and actions re this forum.
Neither does it lend those policies and actions any value or credibility.
I had and have no illusions that Tony will give me any breaks on account of my offering him my support. In fact I have a feeling that a purge of those who dissent from his views is not long off.
I don't know on whose behalf you claim to be writing when you said that my "support is appreciated, (my) politicing is not" but I know this:
My post was honest and appropriate.
Yours, I contend, was not. _________________ If you want to know who is really in control, ask yourself who you cannot criticise.
