Obviously a "bridge too far"  for the police

When they were satisfied I wasn't a runaway criminal with a stolen motorbike, I asked if they wanted me to delete the photos that I had taken, they said "No, it's ok". So what was all that about?
They handed me an A5 sheet of paper about the terrorism act and that I had been questioned "for my safety", I can scan this if anyone wants to see it?
Surely if I were a terrorist wanting to take photos of something, I would have done it discretely with a mobile phone, not spent 20 mins setting up my tripod, going through the manual settings on my camera, changing the shutter times, ISO, aperture settings to get the photos right. |
