In this December newsletter we have announcements of important new events, research, papers, reviews and updates on work being done by our members. Scholars for 9/11 Truth and Justice now has over 750 members and are continuing to grow every day with increasing numbers of prominent people signing onto the challenges to the official story of 9/11/01.

In this season of giving, we are making a special request of STJ members to consider donating what you can to help support a group which has successfully used FOIA requests to obtain new documents and evidence about the 9/11/01 attack. The requests cost money and the documents require time and analysis to uncover relevant facts. a) Richard Gage's European Tour

From November 6th - 21st, San Francisco Bay Area architect Richard Gage, AIA, of Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth, spoke to audiences in eight cities in his first European tour. Richard has gotten several interviews also, including a news segment on Telecinco, Spain's most-watched television station, in connection with his lecture in Madrid. The AE911Truth.org website has Richard's personal tour diary along with links and audience notes. The documentation of these events has been fantastic and we urge all STJ members to take a look and thank and support them for their work. Congratulations!

b) James Gourley's critique of Bazant/Verdure paper published as a discussion paper in The Journal of Engineering Mechanics

James Gourley provided a fascinating account of his experience while attempting to publish a paper at the Journal of Engineering Mechanics here –

Not much is ever written about what we go through to get these papers published. The publication of this paper is a case study in the struggles we face. I'd like to relate to you exactly what I had to go through to get this paper published, and what influences the substance of it have already had. I hesitate to reveal some of the information below, but as will become clear, the Journal of Engineering Mechanics personnel have demonstrated a complete lack of scientific ethics, and I feel like I have no choice but to publish exactly what occurred in the lead up to my paper's publication.

c) 9/11 Working Group of Bloomington Posts Freedom Of Information Request Data
The 9/11 Working Group of Bloomington now has a website where FOIA responses are available in an easy to access format. All of the responses received will take some time to add, but documents from the FBI and the FAA are there now, with short descriptions for each. STJ urges members to please donate to help support the group. b) NIST Releases Final WTC 7 Investigation Report
November 20, 2008
"The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) today released its final report on the Sept. 11, 2001, collapse of the 47-story World Trade Center building 7 (WTC 7) in New York City. The final report is strengthened by clarifications and supplemental text suggested by organizations and individuals worldwide in response to the draft WTC 7 report, released for public comment on Aug. 21, but the revisions did not alter the investigation team's major findings and recommendations, which include identification of fire as the primary cause for the building's failure."

"There were 242 people attending the presentation (which was slightly above the number of seats of the venue) on Thursday the 13th of November: a full house indeed ! We actually had to refuse some people even though we did put a notice on our site stating that it was fully booked . . . We then decided to put the emphasis on getting the info to local (French) professional architects & engineers, and there were 42 architects and 41 engineers present that night."

From Richard's diary –"The theatre for the "9/11: Architecture of Destruction" event was packed. We projected the multimedia presentation onto the screen in French and also had simultaneous verbal translation with head phones."

Here are some more suggestions for what you can do to help expose the truth of the events of 9/11/01:

Contribute an Essay or Write Content for the Website
If you've written a 9/11-related essay or article or letter to the editor which you would like to contribute to the website, please pass it on to us and we will consider it for publication.

Host an Event
Please consider hosting an event featuring members of STJ911 to present a scientific argument of truth of the attacks on 9/11/01. Hosting an event may seem like a daunting task but can be tremendously rewarding both for a local 9/11 group and its community, as well as the movement itself. Several events in 2006 and 2007 were extremely successful and focused on science, were held on university campuses and garnered important news coverage (see: http://stj911.org/events.html). Those who have hosted events involving Scholars members would be glad to give pointers and recommendations for your event. Campuses are one of the best locations for credible educational events.

Participate in the Information War Online
While the mainstream media typically refuse to cover the unanswered questions of 9/11/01, or simply present ad hominem-filled diatribes, dozens of discussion forums all over the Internet are raging in an information war to keep the facts away from the public or distort the ones already available. If you enjoy debate and discussion and are online often, we urge you to get involved on forums and post links and strong arguments to make the case for our work. Many debates are time-wasting, but some are worthwhile, so choose how to spend your time best. Always include links to your favorite websites when you post, using phrases that people are likely to search for in the visible text of your link. This helps the search engine ranking of the page you are linking to.

Participate in the Information War Offline
Letters to the editor, calls to radio shows, emails to representatives, and roadside actions are some of the most important work we can engage in because we take our message directly to the public and our public officials. A single banner on a multi-lane highway for just minutes can be read by thousands of individuals who never get online at all. Participate in an action, letter or call-in and report back on a discussion forum, ours or any of the others.

Edit a 9/11 Page on Wikipedia
