Gilad Atzmon: British Jews Support Israeli War Crimes
The Jewish community in Britain seems to be over the moon. A survey that was published a few days ago suggests that British Jews are nothing but ‘peace lovers’. The Guardian was also quick to report that 77% of “British Jews favour a 'two-state solution' in Israel”.
In practice, this actually means that at least 77% of British Jews believe that millions of dispossessed Palestinians should continue to dwell in refugee camps and never be allowed to their homes, cities, and villages. I am actually far from impressed with British Jewry’s inclination towards peace.
Professor Dan McGowan pointed out recently that Israel and Palestine are in fact “one country with one water system, one electrical grid, one monetary system, one telephone system and one postal system. It is already one state, although half the population has lesser rights or none at all.” Bearing McGowan’s insight, I wonder what drives 77% of British Jews? Why don’t they really welcome Palestinian people to return to their land and enjoy exactly the same civil rights British Jews celebrate in the UK?
But a further question must be raised here. What is it that qualifies British Jews or any other Diaspora Jews to interfere or engage so closely with the fate of millions of Palestinians?
As it happens the Survey provides us with more devastating news. At the time we were devastated to find out that 94% of the Israelis supported the IDF's murderous tactics at the time of Operation Cast Lead. As this new survey clearly reveals, the lack of ethics in British Jewry is far more concerning. Eighteen months after the massacre in Gaza and a year after the UN Fact Finding Mission on the Gaza Conflict found Israel guilty of numerous war crimes and crimes against humanity, nearly three quarters (72%) of British Jews agreed that Israel's action in Gaza in 2008
and 2009 was "a legitimate act of self-defence". I believe that in practice this means that 7 out of 10 British Jews support Israeli war crimes and somehow dismiss the finding of a UN Fact Finding Mission. This is pretty scary.
The study, which was carried out by the Institute for Jewish Policy Research, (JPR) found that Jews in Britain strongly identify with Israel, with nine out of 10 having visited the country. JPR's executive director, Jonathan Boyd, said: "Fundamentally, we found that most Jews feel a strong sense of connection to Israel, and for many it forms an important, and even central part of their Jewish identity.”
For many years I have argued that within the Jewish secular discourse there is no ideological or spiritual dichotomy between the Israeli, the Jew and the Zionist. It is probably impossible to determine where the Zionist ends and the Jew starts. And yet, the notion that in Britain there is a minority community, the overwhelming majority of whom, support war crimes is pretty shocking, especially considering the devastating fact that every political party in this country is bankrolled by different shades of the ‘Friends of Israel.’
In comparison I wonder how the British public would react if they find out that 72% of the Muslim community supported the killings in Mumbai, 7/7 or 9/11. I guess that we all know the answer.

Not once in my life was I questioned by a single law enforcement authority about anything i have written or said.
The question that is left open is what is it that i am doing that is so frightening for Zionists and their AZZ twins?.

I have been correctly accused of remaining silent about 9/11. Although I frequently talk to 9/11 truth groups about various related topics such as Israel, Zionism and Jewish ID politics, I do not contribute to the discourse involving controlled demolitions and airplanes flying into buildings. Engineering, construction and flying are not within my field of research. Though I am aware of many of the details to do with the 9/11 truth movement, I can’t make any original scholarly contributions in this arena.
However, there are a few areas of my study that I think are important in relation to the 9/11 truth movement:
1. The Mossad’s motto is ‘by way of deception’ and false flag operations are deeply rooted in the Mossad’s modus operandi.
2. The prime beneficiary of 9/11 has been Israel. It was Zio-cons who pushed for the so-called ‘war against terror.’ In the name of democracy and Coca Cola the English speaking empire has been fighting Zionist conflicts for almost two decades.
3. Most important, be aware that controlling the opposition is at the core of Zionist survival strategy.
The last point is one of the most important conclusions I draw in my latest book, Being in Time - a Post Political Manifesto.
When self-identified Jews notice that something about their culture, ideology or politics has become a problematic topic, some Jews often form Jewish satellite dissent. Once the Israeli Palestinian conflict evolved into a ‘Jewish problem,’ some ethically motivated Jews formed JVP (Jewish Voice for Peace), Mondoweiss and other pro-Palestinian Jewish bodies. Within a short time these groups gained complete hegemony within the Palestinian Solidarity Movement. As soon as it became clear that the Neocon school is primarily an extended Zionist gathering and that Neocon wars are, in practice, Ziocon global conflicts, the ‘Neocon debate’ was reduced to an internal Jewish quarrel between rabid Zion-con Sam Harris and Anti-con Noam Chomsky.
But what about 9/11?
In my talks and writings I sarcastically suggest to my listeners that if Global Warming were to mature into a ‘Jewish problem,’ in a few hours we would see the formation of the newly ecologically aware ‘Jews Against Global Warming’ (JAGW I guess). It would probably take another week before the new Jewish body would take over the Anti Global Warming Movement and start to expel the so-called ‘anti-Semites.’ This scheme applies to 9/11 truth. As soon as some noticed that the truth movement had become an emerging ‘Jewish problem,’ we could see a growing number of infiltrators attempting to steer the movement away from Israel. This transition within the truth movement has made the 9/11 truth movement of great interest to me.
Ludwig Watzal, Elias Davidsson and the Kosher Narrative
Following the recent duplicitous slander campaign against my work in Germany run by Elias Davidsson and Ludwig Watzal, I stumbled upon their comical 9/11 spin. Countercurrents’ Are 9/11 Truthers Anti-Semites? An Interview With Elias Davidsson by Ludwig Watzal is a case study of an open, non–apologetic attempt to sabotage a movement.
Watzal writes, “Elias Davidsson is one of these ‘truthers’ who challenges the official narrative on 9/11. He is also concerned about the claim made by some ‘truthers’ that Israel was behind the attacks...”
Then we learn that Elias Davidsson is upset by Jew haters who keep referring to the ‘dancing Israelis’ and “the canard that 4,000 Jews, who, forewarned, did not go to work to the World Trade Center on 9/11.” Larry Silverstein is also vindicated by our 9/11 ‘truther’ because “he did not make any effort to cover his alleged tracks. He leased the WTC just six weeks before 9/11, announced this lease to the world, insured it against terrorism for a whopping $3.2 billion and ‘admitted’ in a documentary film to have given on 9/11 the authorization to ‘pull’ WTC 7.” According to our ‘kosher detective’ Davidsson, all this is evidence that Silverstein is innocent. Why? Because “we have here all the requisite elements: A greedy Jew, proximity to the crime, motive. It is precisely the high visibility of Larry Silverstein as an ideal villain that makes me (Davidsson) hesitate to implicate him in the crime. His alleged complicity is simply too obvious.”
Silverstein may well be innocent, although proximity to the crime, having a motive and high visibility are not elements of ‘vindication.’ On the contrary, they justify intense scrutiny of Silverstein’s actions.
If Davidsson and Watzal had spent some time reading yours truly instead of fabricating statements and attributing them to me, they would know that I explain this. I contend that self identified Jews hardly conspire, they prefer to act in the open. Whether it is AIPAC, J-STRET, CFI, The CRIFF, Soros, Kushner or Israeli war crimes in Gaza, Jewish action is not disguised. Jewish power, on the other hand, is the power to suppress discussion of Jewish power. Silverstein and Davidsson both provide evidence of my hypothesis. Silverstein acted in the open and Davidsson is obviously committed to suppressing discussion of Israel and Silverstein within the truth movement.
But “what might be the motives for linking Israel to 9/11?” Watzal wonders.
Davidsson answers, “who are better placed as bogeymen than Jews or Israel? The Nazis used this method with great success.”
Apparently Davidsson’s role in the truth movement is identical to JVP’s role in the Palestinian solidarity movement. The self appointed commissars are there to label as ‘Nazis’ those who do not adhere to the ‘correct’ narrative.
At this stage, I am not in any position to assess the role Israel might have played in 9/11. But I can easily evaluate Davidsson and Watzal’s kosher impetus. Both publicly attempt to steer the inquiry away from Israel or anything remotely Zionist.
Finally, Watzal asks Davidsson who did 9/11, to which Davidsson answers “I consider it beyond dispute that the US military planned and executed the mass-murder of 9/11 on behalf of the US elite (which, evidently, includes also persons of Jewish descent).”
Watzal and Davidsson inveigle to move the 9/11 movement to the realm of ‘beyond dispute,’ a territory in which Israel is clean and Silverstein has become a victim. Islington Council has said it is “considering its options” in the wake of an appearance by antisemite Gilad Atzmon at council-owned premises last Friday, despite being refused permission.
The council first received a complaint on December 3, from a member of the Jewish community about jazz saxophonist Atzmon’s proposed appearance with the band, the Blockheads. The band was due to play at Islington Assembly Hall on 21 December.
The council decided not to allow Atzmon to play, but after the threat of legal proceedings from his solicitors, re-considered the issue. On December 13 the council decided for a second time that it would not allow him to perform. He appealed, but his appeal was turned down and the council said that the performance would proceed “without Mr Atzmon”.
However, from a variety of social media postings from Atzmon, members of the Blockheads and members of the concert’s audience, it is clear that, dressed as Santa Claus, he did go on stage and joined the band during the evening.
A spokesman for the council says it is “disappointed” that the Blockheads brought Atzmon on stage “despite their prior agreement to adhere to the council’s decision. The council is considering its options”.
Islington said that detailed reasons for its decisions had been provided to Mr Atzmon and his solicitors.
“In summary, under the Equality Act 2010, the council must, in the exercise of its functions, have due regard to the need to foster good relations between different races and religions within the borough. The council took account of the fact that Mr Atzmon’s presence at the Hall, and knowledge of his presence among residents of the borough, might harm such relationships, as well as the council’s duty to tackle prejudice and promote understanding within the borough”.
The row sparked a new furore when the Labour MP Chris Williamson signed a petition called “Hands Off Gilad Atzmon”, protesting at the ban on the Israeli-born activist. Williamson claimed he had not known about Atzmon’s antisemitic opinions and apologised for having signed the petition, but many people refused to believe he could not have been aware of Atzmon’s history and behaviour.

Today's settlement brought to an end what was later described in a statement from Adelson's solicitors as one of the 'UK's most expensive libel actions ever."
The statement said it was estimated that the publication of the article and the paper's 'near three years defence'of the claim would cost Associated Newspapers in the region of £4 million.
Billionaire Adelson, chairman of Las Vegas Sands Corporation, the world's biggest casino chain, sued publishers Associated Newspapers over the two page article on 28 May 2005 headlined: "Glazer's Big Gamble", "Sold Trafford" and "Revealed, the ruthless casino baron who rules Las Vegas and is helping United's new owner in a desperate bid to fund his debt".
His solicitor, Gideon Benaim, told judge Mr Justice David Eady at the London court today: 'The article suggested that Mr Adelson and his Las Vegas business had, in pursuit of their plans shamelessly to exploit Manchester United by operating a gambling complex at Old Trafford, colluded with Mr Malcolm Glazer in his bid to gain control of the club, holding secret talks before Mr Glazer's takeover, and attempting after the takeover to conceal their involvement in the complex by announcing their plans whilst supprters were distracted by the ongoing battle with Mr Glazer.
"The article suggested that Mr Adelson and, by implication, his business as engaging in cut-throat, ruthless and despicable business practices, including that they were inordinately and unreasonably litigious, that they routinely attacked in he press any politician who sided with their enemies, and suggested that the habitually and corruptly bought political favour.
'Examples of Mr Adelson's alleged unreasonable litigiousness were given in the article, including a supposedly bizarre case in which he had even sued himself, by causing Las Vegas Sands to claim £27million in damages from another company in the group, Venetian Casino Resort.
'The article also made serious and unpleasant allegations concerning Mr Adelson's private life. It clamed that he had callously asked for his wife the night before she was to have a cancer operation, sending a friend to do this rather than asking her himself; and suggested that he had ruthlessly, albeit not unlawfully, stitched up his stepsons by buying heir shares in one of his companies at a fraction of heir true value."
Benaim continued: 'My Lord, these allegations were all unjustified. As such they represent a grave slur on Mr Anderson's personal integrity and business reputation. The allegations were also highly offensive to Mr Adelson, causing him considerable distress and embarrassment. All of the allegations are absolutely and utterly false.'
He added that his client had never even met or spoken with Malcolm Glazer, and that the reporting on this issue was 'totally in error". He said that Las Vegas Sands' plans to pen an entertainment complex at the ground were announced, in a proper and open way, by a press release on 9 May 2005.
He said that the publishers had agreed to withdraw the allegations, apologise publicly, and to pay Mr Adelson – who is 12th on Forbes' worldwide rich list – 'a very substantial sum'in damages and his legal costs.
Lindsay Hodgkinson, for Associated, added: 'Both the defendant and David Jones, the author of the article, unreservedly withdraw the allegations against Mr Adelson and Las Vegas Sands that my friend has outlined, and wish to apologise personally and publicly to them for the damage and distress caused by the publication of this article."
In the statement issued later by London Solicitors, Schillings afterwards Mr Adelson said : 'The Daily Mail's article was a wholly unwarranted attack on me and our business. It was based on a lie 0 the false allegation that I had secret meetings with Malcolm Glazer, a man I have never met – and proceeded to make wild and false claims about my personal life and my career."
In the last week, we saw yet another organised smear campaign of hate and slander orchestrated by Jewish interest groups and Labour Partyaffiliates wielded against Internationally acclaimed Jazz musician, Gilad Atzmon.
A protest was planned for Atzmon’s concert at The Vortex Jazz Club after numerous emails from local Labour Council members and members of these groups demanded the cancellation of the gig fell on deaf ears. They claimed Atzmon plays Nazi-apologist Jazz. Personally, I’m not familiar with the genre. The chief organiser was Jewdas, a group that qualifies itself as “Radical Jewish Voices”. The four co-sponsors were Momentum, an alleged grassroots collective, Socialists Against Antisemitism, whose name is self-explanatory if not contradictory, London Young Labour and the Jewish Labour Movement.
What is most interesting is this event was supported and promoted by journalist for the Guardian Owen Jones. It’s always shocking when a journalist supports any sort of censorship. Jones posted the event on his Facebook page and within two days managed to rack up over 350 comments telling him what a huge mistake he was making, the accusations against Atzmon were false and totally absurd, and might he provide some proof to substantiate the claims. Many came from avid readers and supporters of Jones’s regular commentary but were aghast at his support of preventing a respected musician from earning a living and they expressed this in no uncertain terms.
When Jones finally did respond, it was to attach a hit piece that came from an ultra-Zionist website full of misquotes, quotes out of context and even completely fabricated quotes. Rather than sifting through Atzmon’s prolific body of written work to decipher if the accusations against him were legitimate, Jones instead chose this piecemeal missive full of lies.
Realising, at that point, Jones hadn’t actually read anything by Atzmon, I attached a copy of a page from Atzmon’s book, The Wandering Who? I assumed once he read Atzmon’s thoughts, directly, versus some b****** fictional version, he would realise his error in judgement and deliver a swift apology. This is what an honest journalist, a person with integrity would do. Astonishingly, Owen Jones chose a different path. He didn’t admit to his mistake (giving him the benefit of the doubt, here), but rather removed the entire thread, or shall I say, the evidence. This was a calculated, conscious decision by Jones, suggesting he was fully aware of the deceit being peddled in both the protest he was supporting and the piece he scrounged up to defend it. This isn’t the behaviour one expects from a journalist. It’s typically something one finds in a sleazy tabloid writer whose articles are printed next to ads for miracle serums to cure baldness or penis enlargement.
