Yes, this is "The Project For The New American Century" folks - how I wish more people were aware of it (let alone the desire it expresses for "A New Pearl Harbour") it outlines clearly the proposed decent into Hell - whether the writers planned and realise this or not.

How dare they use Art-Deco - Style edging for the first page!!!

I was first told about PNAC by an Indian (Hindu) young man I got talking to after a STW conference in London. He had just come back from a stay in America and was there during and just after 9/11 and told me how walking down a neighbourhood street on "Trick Or Treat" night - mothers would clutch their children closely to them when they saw him appraoching! It is just this state of prejudiced ignorence that allows this nasty document (and all it entails) to go by so little noticed and with so little criticism.

The Rebuilding Americas Defenses document was published in September 2000, around the same time that Saddam Hussein stated his intentions to commence selling Iraq's oil in Euros. This action by Iraq's leader posed a threat to the US Oil Dollar hegemony (see the document The Real Reasons for the Upcoming War With Iraq: A Macroeconomic and Geostrategic Analysis of the Unspoken Truth William Clark, January 2003 (Revised March 2003, with Post-war Commentary January 2004) available here.

The same threat to the US Oil Dollar Hegemony is now posed by Iran. The Iran Nuclear issue is a smokescreen- it is all about the threat to the US Dollar, which is artificially kept strong (but is now faltering as the Chinese etc. withdraw from US Treasury Bonds etc.) by the Oil Dollar hegemonic currency.

Colbert shakes up Bill Kristol over PNAC ties

Bill Kristol, who is one of the major players in the group called PNAC, joined the set of the "Colbert Report," and I think was taken off guard right at the outset of the show because he had to answer questions that our media never asks. PNAC envisioned America attacking the Middle East since the middle '90's and for some inexplicable reason (that was a joke) the media never questions him or his members which have lined the walls of Bush's cabinet about PNAC and how it influenced our foreign policy, which led us to attack Iraq.

Colbert immediately called him on it and Kristol was quite embarrassed talking about it.

Colbert: Speaking of thinking alike, you were a member, or are a member of the New Project for the American Century, correct?

Kristol: I am.

Colbert: Were or am, am?

Kristol: Were and am.

Colbert: How's that project coming?

Kristol: well. it's..(stammering)

Colbert: How's the New American Century, looks good to me?

Kristol: Ahh--I think...hehe yea--I'm speechless..

Colbert: Really?

Kristol: Yea...we've sort of...the Project for the New American Century is just a few people..

Colbert: Come on, it’s a terrific New American Century, right?

Kristol: Well I think we do OK.

Colbert: You Rummy Wolfowitz, Cheney, Pearle, Feith, all you guys right?

Kristol (responds timidly): Well, we fought back after 9/11.

That was an interesting interview,but Colbert did not really ask the telling question re PNAC.

I suppose these things are agreed on beforehand.
