When you carry out research into your quest for 911 truth you realise how dysfunctional the pillars of our society have become. re: the media, the authorities, our elected representitives and the Church.
The response from the Church to 911 truth to date has been one of silence, however is the tide now turning? I think I will check out the following event next week (posted on this marvellous truthseeking website):-

Since the tragic events in New York on September 11th. 2001, it seems clear that the official accounts of the worst terrorist attack in America's history leave many unanswered questions. Key facts remain unexplained, statements at the highest level have been shown to be confused or contradictory and the recent 9/11 Commission Report running to 567 pages, manages to obscure rather than unearth the truth.
The attack has lead to wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, enormous loss of life, significant restrictions to civil liberties in the United States and a growing unease on the part of some commentators concerning the plausibility of the explanations provided by the Bush administration. All of this matters, particularly in view of the religious requirement to seek the truth - 'and the truth shall set you free,' (John Ch. 8 vv32.)
The presentation will draw on the recent work of David Ray Griffin, Professor of Philosophy and Religion at the Claremont School of Theology, California, as well as examining other recent publications and developments.
Professor Griffin is the author of 'The 9/11 Commission Report: Omissions and distortions (2005).
The presentation will be given by Daniel Garner who holds degrees from the University of Lancaster and is currently engaged in PhD research studies at the University of Manchester.

Well, I'm an elder in an Anglican church and I'm on board, however there's very little awareness generally, it's a bit heads in the sand, but that's not just christians. I think church people are just very wary of getting involved in anything 'political', especially evangelicals. But truth should matter, especially to christians, so I'm hopeful. |
