Despise Not Prophesies

I am normally reticent about posting anything that has a hint of American TV style evanglism about it but this guy David Wilkerson holds some credibility with me having started his early ministry days amongst the gangs in New York around the late 50,s 60,s. His early book "The Cross and The Switchblade" painted a picture of the vicious gang culture in NY and his work as a christian which saw many gang members brought to tears when confronted by love and forgiveness.

It is not lightly that I would post a Prophetic word but David Wilkerson is not some off the wall preacher (although you may disagree after listening) but a well respected minister who practices what he preaches. Given the way in which we are interpreting world events since 9/11 this may just be useful to be aware of.

The video seems to have declared the imminent catastrophe over a year ago. I'd like a more specific "window of opportunity" if it's going to be so "earth shattering"!!!.

I made a prediction myself about this year. I said some 4 years ago that earthquakes &/or volcanoes would play a major part in the history of the year and have been proven right so far.

I'm going to stick my neck out here and point to mid August for something rather horrific to occur. Hope I'm not proven right though.
