You are an interesting fellow Flamesong (Alf?).

Can you let us know why you are labelled as a '9/11 Truth critic'? (if that's not too much work)

I had no idea that I was until you just pointed it out.

As somebody who has been campaigning for 9/11 truth since 2001 it comes as a bit of a surprise. If you look at my website I think you will find nothing which remotely supports the official version.

My best guess is that it has something to do with certain members of this forum who reside in Lancashire and Cumbria who have revelled in propagating lies.

Failing that, ask the administrator.

I think it just about sums up the level of truth you can expect around here.

Thanks for pointing it out.

F_ing hilarious. Rolling Eyes

It's strange how someone like Alf, who has a natural kind of belligerence which I personally respect, can move from a wierd categorisation as 9/11 Critc, obviously not within the context here, to 'suspended' in such an easy move
This forum is not explaining itself very well

Not sure why Alf was branded a critic. For attacking the moderators in the past is my guess.
But this time he's been suspended simply for swearing.

And your decision Mr G is simply not consistent.

And therefore.

Not credible.

Time for you to rethink yourself.

Where's the swearing......is it the "F_ing hilarious"?????

This is puzzling stuff, Tony. Are you feeling under pressure.......stressed out? This looks like an over-reaction.

The mind games thing is something I'm not prepared to tolerate, and I take accusations, by PM, seriously.

If people swear here and it's pointed out to me they're generally suspended or banned.
Even long term posters can suddenly turn nasty.
Anyone who is rude to me personally won't be here long. It depends on the spirit in which its done.
Persuasion might work better.

You really ought to take a brief period of rudeness with a pinch of salt, Tony
You really are a strong character, with a lot of real mission about you
I don't think you should admit to a fragile side where you take personal abuse, sweariness, argumentativeness as a personal affront.
You've got a very strong history behind you. I for one cant fault you on it
I've very much liked you on all personal encounters
Many of the people you suspend or ban are on your side for the most part, with just some niggling disagreement in the forebrain
You get yourself a reputation as a subjunctive internet fascist, when that is far from the case
Ease up is all I can say. You've had it from the controlling powers. Don't take it out on the proletarian contributors
Take this comment out if you want, I'd understand that. Just consider awhile, is all I'd say

Surely the truth Movement needs to be little more robust. If the oppressive power grabbers that you fight get the foothold. They will be more ruthless than a little expletive swearing. I think we need to take it on the chin a little here. I been perusing this site and have seen much banning and bickering. How can we expect a cohesive collective for truth if we fight each other. It reminds me of the Monty Python "Judea People's Front thing".

If people properly respect the rights of the moderators, me and others generally to have different opinions we get along fine.
For me it's usually about whether people criticise the person or the points they make.
And whether they present that criticism with a degree of respect.

Sadly, yes. I often had exactly the same thought..........even as I condemned those b*stards who belong to the People's Front of Judea.

I too would be a bit peeved if criticised for something I spend much time and effort in maintaining. If however, you are running an OPEN forum all challenges to a point of view should be accepted, the merits or otherwise of arguments being a matter of other members and site visitors to determine. That said, I believe swearing should be generally discouraged in order that standards of debate remain high.

In any forum worthy of merit I would expect both personal and ethnic abuse to warrant censure from site administrators. For example in Sports sites there is a clear distinction between..
'That penalty decision was effing diabolical.','Perhaps the Referee should contenplate a career change.'
and 'That c**t of a referee is a fcuking joke.'.

On a personal note, may I offer my sincere appeciation for all your efforts as I'm sure the majority of site visitors do also.
