excerpt from: Bin Laden: Israeli Gaza offensive is a 'holocaust'
Haaretz, 14 March 2009
Quote: | Al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden has called Israel's offensive on Gaza a holocaust and blamed Arab leaders for not doing enough to stop the fighting in his latest audio recording aired on Al-Jazeera on Saturday.
Bin Laden accused some Arab countries of collaborating with Israel on the offensive earlier this year that killed some 1,300 Palestinians in Gaza. He did not name any specific Arab countries in the brief audio recording.
"It is clear that some Arab leaders have plotted with the Zionist-crusader coalition against our (Muslim) people," the speaker, whose voice sounded like earlier messages from bin-Laden, said in the recording. |

[...]
He declares it "a mandatory religious duty" for Muslims "to cut off [the] heads" of the leaders of nations bordering Israel, including Jordan, who have suppressed the mujahadeen.
Bin Laden added that a victory in Iraq would be the impetus for the Islamists to infiltrate Jordan, enter the West Bank, and from there "the rest of Palestine," [...] |
