When I was in school, we used to talk about what are parents went through to stamp out 'communism' in the McCarthy era.
We would envision a world behind the 'iron curtain' where there television news was very controlled and censored...
We would imagine that those poor people had to smuggle Coca Cola & Levi's and 'real news' about what's really going on in the world.

Have you seen the corporate logos all over the sponsorship of both parties.
What does that tell you about the difference between left and right.
Funny at the top of the list is AT&T with the other telecommunications giants...oh yeah didn't they just get immunity for spying on American citizens and permission to keep it up...
hence the FISA bill.
Yes they're displaying there corporate logos ever so proudly at these conventions as we unite and rally behind our presidential hopefuls...

Marketing, in its modern version, has become "eye candy". It is a well crafted science.
It is precise...meticulous...exacting...thorough...
And for what purpose?
To what end?
If a man is to be judged not on his words...but from his actions...then what does this tell us about todays 'modern corporations'.
The internet...'world wide web'...'the information highway'...
What a gift this has been. Truly. To the common citizen.
It is so important for knowledge and ideas to flow freely...outside the perimeters of control.
Even for those with a narrow view of history should be able to understand that progress "can't happen" under a controlled environment.
What kind of images do these words conjure up in your mind...words such as 'control', 'power', 'socialism', 'globalism',...
The internet has also given us access to information. Information about people. The people who are in control.
This is one thing about 'computer science'...the fact that it is 'precise' and 'meticulous' can work in our favor as well.
We can use the internet to research long lost newspaper articles...and we can witness 'newscasts' that happened on historic days such as 9/11...
We can review history and find the 1st reports that came out of world catastrophe's before the 'cover ups' started to take form.
The strongest evidence in every 9/11 documentary that I have ever seen is the 'mainstream news coverage' taking place within the 1st 24-48 hours.
(funny the major networks won't provide them)
We should thank every person who recorded these news events...and posted them, and reposted them in documentaries and films....and music videos etc...
So that we can be constantly reminded of these tragedies and how are leaders responded to them.
Katrina, 9/11, Oklahoma City, WMD's, Patriot Act, CIA involvement in 1st WTC bombing, Pat Tillman...the shameful list goes on and on and on..
Now....why do you think that were seeing a very heavy corporate presence on the internet.
Let us ponder this for awhile.

This video has been the most positive project that I have ever attempted. At first, it looked like it would most assuredly fail, but soon it was to take a different turn. The people who have contributed their time and talent have let the world know that they care! Like rays of light from their hearts and spirits. I know this video isn't going to change anything, it won't stop a war....it will silently disappear into a distant memory...but for just one short fleeting second...it has made me feel like I've done 'something'...I have never felt so strongly about anything else in my entire life!

Life is a juggling act...It really is a juggling act........If one loses ones balance, well then, it would seem logical that one would probably have a nasty fall!!! Wouldn't it???
Have I already lost your attention...well if your attention span is anything like that of my own...well let's just hope that it isn't! Now the balance of life....everything in moderation...love anything too much, or care for anything to little...well now, this upsets the delicate balance of life that most of us seem to juggle well enough, at least well enough for us to maintain some sort of stability, in a rather unstable universe! But there are some of us who upset this delicate balance so much, and in such a way, that the ability to maintain becomes such a matter of difficulty, that the effect of this illusion, of having his or her '* together' becomes a real bitch to pull off! Well they have to rehabilitate themselves of course!!! Why are there 'poppy' fields in bloom and blossoming all over Afghanistan right under the US military's noses? Why did it take 5 days for the government to send aid to the victims of hurricane Katrina? Why are we paying an income tax? Why did AT&T censor Eddie Vedder's remarks about President Bush while broadcasting a live pearl jam concert? What really happened to Pat Tillman?
Why won't the US government ever hold themselves accountable for anything? Putting conspiracy theories aside...in all honesty...what the hell is going on?
It feels strange not being able to trust in something that you've always trusted in...doesn't it?

Though this video was posted in January of this year....it serves as a reminder of all the 'suspicious complications' that arose during the primaries.
I'm afraid we are about to witness the very worst show of American behavior in the weeks to come...
There is still a very real danger that 'W' will 'create a situation' where he stays in office.....let us hope that this doesn't happen.
I'd like to point out also that 9/11 was an "Economic attack" upon America....
