A new feature-length authored documentary, to be aired by More4 on June 30th, takes a close look at factory farming methods in the pig industry, many of which originated in the US but are now being employed in Europe.
Pig Business is the result of more than four years of fearless and intense research across the US, Poland and the UK by passionate environmental activist Tracy Worcester. The Marchioness has dedicated her life to fighting what she sees as the harmful, exploitative corporate practices that now dominate the world’s food production.

• Because of the EU’s agriculture policy, thousands of Polish farmers who have helped to keep their landscape an “unspoilt jewel of Central Europe”, are being driven out of business and into unemployment and migration
• The advance of factory farms in Poland has been helped by huge multi-million dollar loans from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development - a bank guaranteed and subsidised by the tax-payer.
• Supermarkets choose to bulk buy from the super-farms and inadequate labelling often makes it unclear where and how the pork has been produced
• UK independent pig farmers claim they are being ruined because they cannot compete with the cheap cost of imported pork produced to lower standards in Europe.
• The solutions described are to buy British to ensure the sows are not kept in crates their entire pregnancy and to buy from farmers markets and high street butchers to support independent farmers

World Health Organization gets aggressive with vaccination recommendations
Meanwhile, the World Health Organization -- always a trusty friend of Big Pharma -- has announced that swine flu is "unstoppable" and is now directing all the nations of the world to vaccinate their citizens against the H1N1 influenza strain. This is essentially an order for global mandatory vaccinations.
And yet, at the same time the WHO is recommending mass global vaccinations against the swine flu, it also states on its own website that such vaccines have never been proven safe. In its own words (http://www.who.int/csr/disease/swin...):
Emphasis added] "Since new technologies are involved in the production of some pandemic vaccines, which have not yet been extensively evaluated for their safety in certain population groups, it is very important to implement post-marketing surveillance of the highest possible quality. In other words: Use the people as guinea pigs and see who dies first!
It's not difficult to decode the WHO's language in this case. The vaccines aren't safe, so they're recommending that people given the vaccines be watched closely to see what happens (who dies).
And just to make sure more people die, the WHO is also recommending such vaccines use "live attenuated influenza."

Welford Primary School in Birmingham was among places affected
Senior public health doctors in Birmingham have criticised the policy of giving tamiflu to patients without swine flu as "indefensible".
Jacky Chambers at Heart of Birmingham NHS Primary Care Trust, said the policy applied by the Health Protection Agency (HPA) was "inconsistent and confused".
The policy appeared to be politically driven, the doctor said in an open letter to the British Medical Journal.
The HPA said it was especially cautious initially when information was limited.
However, Dr Chambers, the trust's director of public health, said the policy had been ineffective and not based on any credible evidence…

This is more a question than anything. Of course, one cannot prevent catching swine flu. But what about the vaccine? Vaccines are normally, I believe, made with 'deactivated' organisms that are in the disease. As swine flu contains pig genetic material, it seems to me so would the vaccine.

This is not a frivolous question; can anyone enlighten me?

There is of course a serious flaw in those extrapolations - a far bigger percentage of the Third World would die, from the flu being more effective in malnourished people, and with people who could not afford any medication; their depleted imune systems would fall prey far easier than over-fed, over-medicated Westerners (not that obese and Ritalin-fed sheeple have good immune systems). (PhysOrg.com) -- A team of researchers from Iowa State University is putting flu vaccines into the genetic makeup of corn, which may someday allow pigs and humans to get a flu vaccination simply by eating corn or corn products.
Err, is anyone else ever so slightly worried about ingesting this stuff? I notice there is no mention of how it will be labelled, and given the ongoing fight to ensure all GM products are correctly labelled I have grave misgivings about this miracle of science.

If we consume this miracle corn is there a possibility we will in the future in some senses be genetically 'branded' Monsanto, should they become involved in its patenting, by having the genetic structure bound within us, in the way vast swathes of the world have been branded by their failing corn?
I don't imagine the likelihood of 'CornyFlu' to be any more carefully manufactured than the above GM disaster, and most certainly wouldn't be happy if it cropped up in my cornflakes...

The WHO rules do not allow the labeling of GM foods as GM as this is 'unfair trade practice'. All part of the NWO plan to feed us on bs (or in this case pig *).
