7/7 Kings Cross CCTV - Date and time removed..WHY?

7/7/05 Kings Cross CCTV images have had there date and time removed. Yet on the 28/6/05 "Dummy Run" Kings Cross CCTV images, the time and date can be seen clearly.. WHY was the date and time been removed from the 7/7 kings Cross CCTV images?

It is entirely possible that the date and time have been ADDED to the previous cctv pictures.
Certainly very strange and yet another unexplained anomaly.

Alternatively it could just be that the the Darlex CCTV system records the time and date on a seperate data stream from the video. It would then be down to the playback operator to choose how the time and date information is displayed, if at all.

The answer with so much of this is maybe.

Which is what we try to pick apart and is the purpose of sites like this Muncher.

The BBC and others have deliberately obscured time codes in the past

I think all media should be forced to show uncropped timecoded images, both stills and videos.

Taking Muncher's point, cameras can be set not to record the date and time.

There is no logical reason why railway staff should do this as the prime purpose in the use such film to provide as evidence in the event of criminal actions occuring. Indeed why go to the bother of adding times and date to clips not significant to any particular timeline yet leave them off on clips purporting to be of the events of 7/7.

Until such time as counter-logic is available it is perfectly valid to question the reason for the date/time admission.
