Londoner Benjamin Creme has for years been saying that the "World Teacher" has entered the world in order to teach and inspire the human race to renounce worship of competition and to implement the principle of sharing the world's resources in order to bring about an era of justice, peace and right relationships.
Here follows an article from the latest copy of his magazine, Share International, in which it is argued that governments act secretively, hiding from the people truths we have a right to know.
Benjamin Creme, a Scottish artist of Irish Catholic and Russian Jewish parentage, is a student of "esoteric wisdom". Readers may find his pronouncements too way out to swallow, but he offers an optimistic message about the future and how humanity, if we wake up to reality and get active, can survive the present and coming global traumas and build a peaceful world.[/color][/color]
The Time of Revelation
by the Master –, through Benjamin Creme, 14 June 2009
For many years, the peoples of most countries have followed, more or less meekly, the edicts of their legislators, the politicians. This has largely been the case whether the legislative system was democratic or otherwise. This is now beginning to change. Far from quiet acceptance of unpopular laws, peoples in many countries now demonstrate and demand change. With the exception of those countries under tight military rule, the people, more and more, are demanding to be heard, to have their needs addressed, and bad laws righted. As the beneficent energies of Aquarius gain in potency, this growing power of the people will multiply and become the most powerful voice on Earth. So much is this the case, even now, that governments of all kinds are forced to take account of the peoples’ reaction to laws which deeply concern their welfare. It becomes increasingly difficult for governments to govern along strictly factional lines. Much government action is secretive and obscure, much is done ‘behind the scenes’ of which the people never hear, but generally, governments, at least in the so-called ‘democratic’ world, are careful not to rouse the ire or discontent of the people......

This guy doesn't claim to be the Messiah, so he can't be a fake one.
I make no claims about his status, though I note you do, Tony: a "fake Messiah". I'm simply pointing out that from what ever angle you approach it there are many voices from different backgrounds saying much the same thing about how the justice which could be brought about from equitable sharing of the world's resources would lead towards global peace. There cannot be peace while we worship competition and despise sharing as an economic system.
I don't see why sharing the views of Keir Hardy and Robert Owen should amount to nicking them. Neither of those democratic socialists claimed the exclusive right to hold their views. Quite the opposite: they spent their lives persuading others to adopt such views. Because I share many of their views am I guilty of nicking them?
If the point of view that global sharing on an equitable basis were simply "common sense" most people would agree with it. Instead, most people are hooked on the notion that unfettered economic competition is the way to prosper and is an essential ingredient of freedom and democracy. It is not IMO. This is a system which leads to ever greater wealth and power becoming concentrated in the hands of fewer and fewer people until those people become the ones who rule the world. It's a system which stinks.

quote:
by the Master
I do agree with many of his views, but he is misguided in others.
---
23:4 For they bind heavy burdens (the Talmud) and grievous to be borne, and lay [them] on men's shoulders; but they [themselves] will not lift one of their fingers to remove them.
23:5 But all their works they do for to be seen by men: they make broad their phylacteries (small leather box containing Old Covenant- Testament texts, worn to remind them to keep The Law [God's Law]), and enlarge the borders of their garments,
23:6 And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the churches,
23:7 And greetings in the markets, and to be called by men, Priest, Rabbi, Imam, etc. (the church and the state were one at that time)
23:8 But be not YE (which included the Twelve Apostles who were also there) called priest (etc.): for One is your Teacher, [even] Christ; and all ye are brethren.23:9 And call NO [man] your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
23:10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, [even] Christ.
23:11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.
23:12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.
23:13 But woe unto you, lawyers and politicians, hypocrites! for ye shut up the Kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in [yourselves], neither allow ye them that are entering to go in (see Enoch 93:4 - 101:6 in the "King of kings' Bible" - by JAH, which also includes God's Holy Koran). |
