Quote: | Brit given a key to 'unlock' the internet
A British businessman has become one of only seven people in the world to be handed a key that can ‘unlock’ the internet.
Paul Kane has been chosen to form part of an elite ‘chain of trust’ charged with rebooting the web if it is sent into meltdown by a terror attack or mass hacking.
A new safety system has been put in place allowing much of the net to be shut down in an emergency.
It would be down to Mr Kane and five colleagues to switch websites back on after giving the all-clear.
Mr Kane, chief executive of CommunityDNS, based at Bath University, was handed the key in a secret US bunker and has stored it in a safety deposit box. |
Many have said that a false flag cyberattack may be on the way.
Rebooted with many changes of course. This site gone for example. |

If you ever needed a reason to escape from MS - look at this emergnecy fix either because:
a) huge Windows flaw being exploited
b) Set up for a bigger false flag fail?

Microsoft on Monday rushed out an emergency patch for a critical vulnerability that criminals are exploiting to install malware on all supported versions of the Windows operating system.
As promised Friday, Microsoft released the update outside of its normal patching schedule because the vulnerability is being actively targeted. When the flaw first came to public attention three weeks ago, it was being used to attack SCADA — supervisory control and data acquisition — systems that control sensitive equipment at power plants, gas refineries, and other other critical infrastructure.
Since then, it's been used to install general-purpose malware from Zeus and other do-it-yourself crimeware kits used to siphon credit card numbers and other sensitive data from compromised computers. The Windows flaw resides in a shortcut feature that makes it easy to store commonly accessed files and folders on the operating-system desktop. |

Ken O'Keefe, ex US army said that when theres another national emergency in the US, there are plans by the US to switch off the internet because they dont want people posting questions or videos that question the official conspiracy.
Another reason to keep hold of your analogue radio sets, because it could affect all digital radio stations. Get yourself gemmed up on amateur radio operations. _________________ "injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere" Martin Luther king |

It may be useful to have two computers. One with MS and the other with Linux.
My software engineer friend hates MS and wont touch it with a barge pole. He only uses Linux precisely for the sort of reasons posted here.
He says theres too many bugs/back doors/ easy ways for people to spy on your computer with MS. _________________ "injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere" Martin Luther king |
