This goes to show how biased the Fox News Network is!!!
Percentage broken down by choice of first network. Number vary considerably...
stolen legitimate
ABC 56% 32%
CBS 64% 31%
CNN 70% 24%
MSNBC 65% 24%
NBC 49% 43%
Other 56% 28%
but none more so than Fox:
FOX .5% 99%
82% of people who identify themselves as conservative and 80% of those who consider themselves very conservative watch Fox News. Zero liberal or progressives watch Fox News as their first choice and less than 2% of Democrats favor Fox news, while it's the favorite for 75% of Republicans.
If you haven't seen outfoxed, it really is worth watching (downloadable for free from www.question911.com). |

hahahaha - I wasn't expecting that ... 99%! wow ... they really don't care do they, Fox has no shame. I second the recomendation for Outfoxed, it's very good. I have never had cable tv so never saw fox but after watching the documentary I checked it out online www.foxnews.com and couldn't believe what I was seeing! - It's side splittingly funny until you remember that millions of Americans watch it and believe it!
Bill O'Reilly is a particularly nasty piece of work, as is Hannity. The really amazing thing I've found about Fox News is its consistency - it's always slanted and most of all, it's never proper news/journalism. Anytime you notice something 'big' politically happen, go and see what Fox has to say about it and you'll see how far from reality they are, not to mention practically being a TV for the Bush administration and their hateful policies.
Bottom line about Fox is they are pretty succesful and we all know that rubbish from the states ends up creeping into UK culture / society so we all need to keep an eye on our news and not allow it to become anywhere near the disgrace that Fox is. Imagine John Snow or Krishnan Guru Murphy doing their '5 mins of opinion' every couple of nights - Surely people would say, "hey, this isn't news, this is just some guy telling me what he thinks". |
