After the Dunblane shootings many schools tightened up security with code locks on doors and electronic locks activated by Reception staff. I iamgine after Columbine and others any fencing is to stop the bad guys getting in. But i suppose they could also become detention centres when needed if civil uprisings occur or Government clampdown. would need to review Contingency plans of Local Authorities.
The secondary school i attended 35 years ago and the Primary school oppostie me know have high fencing around them but thats been in place for 50 years.Fences also stop footballs _________________ JO911B.
