Interesting talk but with truths, half truths and mistakes ( i wont use the word lie as he seems a sincere chap) Some of his research actually adds weight to the Biblical narrative.
"Biblical characters are missing from the historical record"
Parts of the Bible are a historical record
" Jesus came to England and was King Arthur" There is more evidence for the existance of Christ as Jesus of Nazareth than for King Arthur
"Saul founder of Christianity --pretty much every theologian would agree with that statement"
I think not and certainly pretty much every Christian wouldnt. The message of Christ was being spread before Paul came on the scene.
"Church of Jesus and the Church of Saul"
A rather disingenous idea that their were 2 different churches. The bible tells us in Acts9 that the Lord Jesus met Saul and commissioned him to preach. Prior to that Saul was killing the believers. What the bible is clear about is that false teaching had crept in and within the book of revelation their is an indication of a false "Church" arising but its nothing to do with Saul but anti-christ
Ralphs statement about Saul saying better for the jews to cut off their penises is not in the bible as he states
"Jesus encoraged his disiples to become eunuchs Matthew 19"
Sorry Ralph quite the contrary when you read the whole chapter. Jesus is responding to a question about marriage and Jesus explains that its not for some people.
" idolatry and vain repetition " oh ralph why do you pick the Catholic church as the church of Saul. For many followers of Christ the Catholic church is apostate in particular the papacy _________________ JO911B.
"for we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of the darkness of this world, against wicked spirits in high places " Eph.6 v 12

Simon not Simon Peter was the founder of the organised religion of Christianity. Also Simon Peter was not a Disciple and it is written, in Mark 16 v 7 - "tell His Disciples and Peter."
Acts
8:9 But there was a certain man, called Simon (PATER), which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:
8:19 Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Spirit.
8:20 But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.
